As the most widely used transportation and separation device,elevator belt is a key component of the potato harvest.But the design of elevator belt is often based on experience and lack of theoretical research.It resulted in poor working performance of potato harvest.The movement of potato tubers on the elevator belt belongs to the movement of non-spherical flexible body on the vibrating transportatin device with flexible feature,the movement of tubers is very complicated.Therefore,the analysis of the transportation process of the tubers on the elevator belt can provide guidance for the parameter design of the elevator belt and reduce the design difficulty,which is very significant for the production practice of the potato harvest.On the basis of summarizing the domestic and foreign scholars' research,the transportation process of the tubers on the elevator belt was simulated and analyzed for the purpose of seeking the optimal operating parameters to improve the effort of removing soil of potato tubers without damage.The main research work is as follows:(1)The transportation system was simplified and the theoretical analysis model was established.Based on the string vibration,the vibration equation of elevator belt screen surface was derived and the motion state of tubers was analyzed.According to the collision model of potato tubers,the collision of tubers and rods,and the soil separation process in the tubers collision was analyzed.(2)The virtual prototype model of the elevator belt was established,the transportation process of the single tuber was simulated,and the motion state of tubers on the elevator belt was analyzed.According to the motion state of tubers,a new kind of evaluation method about tubers impact effect was put forward,and the transportation of tubers in different initial conditions was analyzed.(3)The influence of the operating parameters such as the excitation frequency and amplitude,the diameter of the bar on the vibration of the screen surface,the motion state of the tuber and the effect of the tuber collision were investigated by single factor simulation.(4)The transport process of the potato tubers in the actual harvest was simulated and analyzed,and the damage rate statistic of the tubers under different parameters was acquired.And the operating parameters of the transport belt which is most favorable for the effect of tuber collision was explored.
