Melaleuca alternifolia is a plantation with important economic value. At present, the research on fertilization of Melaleuca alternifolia in its budding and regeneration stage is still blank. In order to explore the effect of fertilization on the growth of Melaleuca alternifolia sprouts, regeneration forest growth and oil content, taking Melaleuca alternifolia planting base in Taiping town, ningyuan county city,Hunan province as the test sample, cutting piles with 4-6 cm basal diameter of 5.5?7.5 cm were selected as the test objects, three fertilization methods and three fertilization formulas were designed.Through field fertilization tests, collection and measurement of test materials, and indoor statistics and analysis of data(including variance analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis),the main results are as follows:(1)Fertilization had a significant effect on the growth of sprouts of Melaleuca alternifolia.Among them, there was no significant effect on the total number of sprouts(height>>10 cm),the average number of sprouts under fertilization was 27.2 root/plant,and the total number of sprouts under no fertilization was 26.4 root/plant.It has a significant impact on the number of inferior sprouts(height 10-60 cm)in cutting piles. The average number of inferior sprouts under fertilization is 13.8 root/plant,while the number under no fertilization is 18.2 root/plant.The number of dominant sprouts(height>>120 cm)was significantly affected. The average number of dominant sprouts under fertilization was 5.1 root/plant,while it was only 2.1 root/plant without fertilization. It has a significant effect on the sprouting height of cutting piles(only counting sprouting height>>10 cm).The average sprouting height under fertilization is 0.763 m,but it is 0.458 m;without fertilization. It has a significant impact on the ground diameter of dominant sprouts(10 cm from the section of cutting pile). The maximum ground diameter of sprouts under fertilization is 1.77 cm,while it is only 1.16 cm without fertilization.(2)Fertilization had a significant effect on the growth of Melaleuca alternifolia regeneration forest.Among them,it has a significant impact on the high yield of regeneration forest trees.among different fertilization methods, the tree height from big to small is:twice fertilization 500 g/plant>once fertilization 500 g/plant>once fertilization 300 g/plant>no fertilization.among different fertilization formulas, the tree height from big to small is:formula F3>formula f1>formula F2;It has a significant impact on the overground biomass production of the regeneration forest.among different fertilization methods, the overground biomass from large to small is as follows:twice fertilization 500g/plant>once fertilization 500 g/plant>once fertilization 300 g/plant>no fertilization.among different fertilization formulas, the overground biomass from large to small is as follows:formula F3>formula f1>formula F2;It has a significant impact on the biomass of branches and leaves. The highest biomass of branches and leaves is 1.929 kg/plant when applying f3 formula twice with 500 g/plant,and the lowest biomass of branches and leaves is 0.942 kg/plant when no fertilizer is applied. In addition, there was no significant effect on the biomass proportion of branches and leaves.(3)Fertilizer application has a significant effect on oil content of Melaleuca alternifolia regeneration forest.Among different fertilization methods, the oil content from high to low is:twice fertilization 500 g/plant>once fertilization 500 g/plant>once fertilization 300 g/plant>no fertilization;Among the different fertilization formulas, the oil content from high to low is:Formula F3>Formula F1>Formula F2;In addition,it also has a certain influence on the oil content.the oil content from high to low is formula F3>formula fl>formula F2>no fertilization.(4)Pearson correlation coefficient test results show that there is a significant positive correlation between the biomass of branches and leaves and N application rate,P application rate and organic matter application rate. The constructed multiple linear regression model is Y=0.893+0.032X1+0.002X2+?(Y is the biomass of branches and leaves,X1 is the N application rate,X2 is the organic matter application rate,? is the residual).Increasing N and organic matter application rate can improve the biomass of branches and leaves within the experimental fertilization range. There is a significant positive correlation between oil content and N application rate,P application rate and organic matter application rate. The constructed multiple linear regression equation is Y=10.713+0.647X1+ 0.040X2+?(Y is oil content,X1 is N application rate,X2 is organic matter application rate,? is residual). In the range of experimental fertilization, increasing N and organic matter application rate can improve oil content. In addition, there was no significant correlation between oil content and nutrient application. Conclusion:The test results show that fertilization can effectively promote the growth of Melaleuca alternifolia sprout regeneration forest and increase its oil content.Compared with no fertilization, fertilization significantly improves the number of dominant sprouts, height of sprouts, diameter of sprouts, aboveground biomass and oil content. In addition, reasonable application of N fertilizer and organic fertilizer can improve the biomass and oil content of Melaleuca alternifolia leaves.
