| Magnoliaceae is an important floristic component in China.It is widely distributed in China.It is cultivated in the south,southwest and north of the Yangtze River.It is not only a good furniture and building material,but also has its own characteristics in medicine and spices.It is famous for its magnificent tree shape,beautiful colors,rich fragrance and other characteristics.It is a kind of garden and garden greening tree species with high ornamental value,so it is often regarded as a garden greening rare tree.However,there is no report on the systematic comprehensive evaluation of the common Magnoliaceae plants.In this paper,five species of Magnoliaceae in the campus of Central South Forestry University of science and technology are taken as the research objects,and the characteristics of photosynthetic monthly variation,drought resistance and ornamental characteristics of the plants are evaluated comprehensively.The research results will provide some scientific basis for the selection and conservation of landscape,road vegetation and germplasm resources.The main results are as follows:(1)According to the monthly changes of photosynthetic characteristics of five species of Magnolia:Magnolia sprengeri and Parakmeria Lotungensis)showed the best performance,among which the performance of Wudang Magnolia was higher than the other four in CI and tr,while the performance of Ledong pseudo monogamous Magnolia was higher than the other four in PN;in the GS curve,Ledong pseudo monogamous Magnolia was equal to Wudang magnolia,and both showed excellent performance;in the measurement of big trees,Lechang Michelia was significantly better than the other four,while Wudang Magnolia was along with the plant As for the growth of P.odoratum,its photosynthesis will decline,and its overall performance is not as good as that of young plants;as for P.odoratum,its individual indicators in young plants and trees are excellent.Therefore,in the whole growth process,the photosynthetic characteristics of pseudo monogamous Magnolia in Ledong are stable and good.The results showed that the order of the photosynthetic capacity of five magnoliae plants was:Parakmeria lotus,Michelia chapensis,Magnolia sprengeri,Manglietia insignis and Emei Michelia lotus.(2)Under different drought conditions,Michelia Lechang had the lowest increase in root to shoot ratio,26%higher than CK control group,and the drought resistance was relatively strong;in the morphological index study,the plant height growth of manghuamanglietia and Ledong pseudo monogamous Magnolia increased by 72.19%and 7.9%respectively compared with CK control group,and the other three kinds of growth were negative,indicating that in the drought resistance of plant height,manghuamanglietia and Ledong pseudo monogamy increased by 72.19%and 7.9%respectively Compared with CK control group,the content of chlorophyll in 5 plants decreased by 59.48%,31.33%,54.92%,74.08%and 52.37%respectively.From the decrease of chlorophyll content,it can be seen that the drought resistance ability of Ledong pseudo monoecious magnolia is the best;from the change curves of pod,SP and cat,Lechang Michelia has the smallest decline,so the drought resistance ability is the best;in the change of MDA content curve,Wudang Magnolia shows a stable upward trend,so its drought resistance ability is the best.The results showed that the drought resistance of the five plants was from strong to weak:Michelia Lechang,pseudo monogamous magnolia,Michelia Emei,Magnolia and Manglietia.(3)From the analysis of the evaluation results of the ornamental characteristics of Magnoliaceae plants,we can see that the plant type,leaf color,leaf quality,flowering period and fruit quantity of Michelia Lechang and pseudo monogamous Magnolia are better than the other three plants,while the best of the four indexes of flower color,flower quantity,flower fragrance and fruit color is Madang Magnolia;the comprehensive evaluation of the three characteristics of Five Magnoliaceae plants is better,and the optimization is better There are two plants,Michelia chapensis and Parakmeria Lotungensis,which are plump and compact in plant type,bright and pure in flower color,dense in flowers and excellent in comprehensive characters.The rest of Michelia wilsonii Finet Magnolia sprengeri Pampan.Can be excellent species of characteristic ornamental plant germplasm resources. |
