Ornamental grasses are herb Plants,its wide adaPtability,drought and Pest resistant ability,extensive management,high ornamental value,is widely used in landscaPing.However,China mainly imPorted ornamental grasses from abroad,while the introduction sPecies have many Problems in the ecological adaPtability and intrusion risks.In this studies,using subordinate function and grey correlation analysis to evaluation 10 wild ornamental grasses drought tolerance at seeds germination stage characteristics,seedling Physiological characteristics and Plants ornamental characteristics in field,so that Provide the basis for the investigation and utilization of domestic wild ornamental grass. And select high quality varieties as new Potential wild ornamental grasses. The main studies are as follows:1. Polyethylene glycol(PEG-6000) of 0 ~-1.3 MPa osmotic stress,with the osmotic Potential decreased,10 wild ornamental grass seed’s germination rate,germination index,germination Potential,Plumule length,radicle length were decreased first and then increased,but seedling fresh weight and were gradually decreased. Under-0.1 MPa could Promote the 10 wild ornamental grass seed’s germination,10 materials’ germination rate,germination index,germination,germ and radicle length were reached the maximum,and Achnatherum splendens(Lanzhou),Achnatherum splendens(Wuwei),Hair grass(Tianzhu),Teff( Lintai) initial germination days shorter than in the CK. After-0.7MPa,10 wild ornamental grass seed’s germination were severely supressed. After-1.3MPa,10 varieties’ s seeds weren’t germinated. With subordinate function to evaluated 10 varieties’ s drought resisstance,ranked as follow: Achnatherum splendens(Lanzhou) > Pennisetum(Ningxian) >Achnatherum splendens(Wuwei) > Pennisetum(Lingtai) > Achnatherum splendens(Sunan) > Shu dai carex(Weiyuan) >Hair grass(Weiyuan) > Hair grass(Tianzhu) > Yun wu carex(Weiyuan) > Teff(Lingtai).2. Simulate drought stress method,as soil water content decreased,10 Wild Ornamental grass’ s chloroPhyll content,RWC decreased gradually,relative conductivity and SS,SP, PRO content increased Progressively; H2O2,-OH, O2- and MDA were show an increasing trend;SOD,CAT activity were first increased then weaken,POD activity increasesgradually.With subordinate function and weight method to evaluated 10 varieties’ s drought resisstance, ranked as follow:Achnatherum splendens(Lanzhou) >Iris lactea(Wuwei) >Achnatherum splendens(Wuwei) > Iris lactea(Tianzhu) > Pennisetum(Ningxian) >Pennisetum(Lingtai) > Teff(Lingtai) > Shu dai carex(Weiyuan) > Hair grass(Tianzhu) >Carex(Dingxi).3. According the growth characteristics of 10 wild ornamental grasses, Achnatherum splendens(anzhou)and Achnatherum splendens(Wuwei) are tall type plant with length leaf,largei nflorescence,green leaves,while it’s spring green-up was high; Iris lactea(Tianzhu)and Iris lactea(Wuwei) are compact plant with beautiful color, dark green leaves;Pennisetum(Ningxian) and Pennisetum(Lintai)’s leaves with a little Purple,inflorescence fluffy like animal’s tail,has a high ornamental value;Teff(Lintai) green period was short and spring green-up was low; Ornamental value of Hair grass(Tianzhu), Shu dai carex(Weiyuan) and Carex(Dingxi) were lower. With grey correlation analysis to evaluated10 varieties’ s drought resisstance,ranked as follow: Iris lactea(Tianzhu) > Achnatherum splendens(Wuwei) = Pennisetum(Ningxian) > Iris lactea(Wuwei) > Achnatherum splendens(Lanzhou) > Pennisetum(Lingtai) > Teff(Lingtai) > Hair grass(Tianzhu) > Shu dai carex(Weiyuan) > Carex(Dingxi).
