Water resources occupy an increasingly important position in the survival and development of human beings today.Every country attaches great importance to its protection and utilization.Agricultural water occupies a large part of water resources utilization, and how to ensure that crop quality and yield will not decline on the basis of water saving has become a hot topic in agricultural water conservancy research.Moistube-irrigation and alternate irrigation are two emerging technologies in the field of water-saving.Moistube-irrigation automatically adjusts the transport of moisture in micro-running pipes according to soil water potential.Alternate irrigation causes water deficit through manual control to promote crops under water stress.Reducing growth redundancy, both technologies have been widely used and achieved good results. This experiment combines moistube-irrigation and alternate irrigation to explore the effects of different cycles of alternating moistube-irrigation on soil water transport, and observe its effect on greenhouses and outdoor vegetables. In the greenhouse and open-air vegetable planting experiment, the pepper was used as the planting object.Under the premise of 1m pressure head and 20cm micro-running tube depth, two alternating cycle variables of 8d and 16d were set,and the water was exchanged every half cycle.Tube, and compared with ordinary irrigation,by measuring the changes of soil moisture content, plant stem diameter, plant height and other irrigation and the amount of irrigation and yield at the end of statistical experiments,to explore the effects of different alternating cycles on vegetable growth and development, irrigation water use efficiency, etc. The test results show that the yield per unit area of the 8d alternating cycle treatment is 431.40 g/m~2,and the output per unit area of open-air test is 431.40 g/m~2,which can improve plant yield under the condition of saving irrigation water and has good economic effects. In the indoor soil tank simulation test,2d,4d,6d,8d,10d,12d were set under the condition of 1.5m pressure head,30cm moistube spacing and 15cm moistube depth.8 sets of different alternating cycle variables test,by measuring the variation of soil infiltration, soil moisture content, soil wet body cross-sectional shape, etc.,explore impact of different alternating cycles of soil moisture under the alternating moistube-irrigation.The results show that the soil wetting bodies with the cycle of 10d,12d,14d and 16d will intersect, and the soil water infiltration rate will decrease after the intersection. It can be seen from the indoor soil tank simulation test and the greenhouse and outdoor pepper planting experiments that the alternating moistube-irrigation can improve the soil water distribution, promote crop growth and increase output. However, under different conditions,it is necessary to select a suitable alternating cycle,so as to maximize the water-saving and yield-increasing effect of the alternating moistube-irrigation.
