China is a large agricultural country.Drought, water shortage and low nitrogen utilization are the two main factors that restrict the development of agriculture. Therefore,it is an important task to improve the utilization rate of water and nitrogen for agricultural development in China.?-polyglutamic acid(?-PGA)has great potential in improving the utilization of water and nitrogen. Therefore, the rational use of ?-PGA is of great significance for the sustainable development of agriculture and ecology. In this paper, the foodstuff crop wheat is taken as the research object.Test method by combining indoor and potted plants, this paper studies the effect of different amount of ?-PGA and nitrogen application on water and nitrogen migration and growth and yield of Winter Wheat in S0 and S1,and determines the best irrigation and fertilization system of Winter Wheat in northwest arid area. The main results are as follows:(1)Under the condition of ponding infiltration, with the increase of application amount of ?-PGA,the infiltration capacity and the transport speed of the wetting front were weakened, and the stable infiltration rate was significantly reduced.(2)Under different application amount of ?-PGA and nitrogen fertilizer, soil moisture content increased with the increase of application amount;ion content decreased with the increase of application amount;nitrate nitrogen increased with the increase of application amount;urease, phosphatase and invertase increased with the increase of application amount, and their content in non saline soil was significantly higher than that in slightly salinized soil, indicating that ?-PGA and nitrogen fertilizer acted on urease, phosphatase and invertase in non saline soil It was more significant(P<0.05).(3)The effects of ?-PGA and nitrogen on the growth characteristics and water use efficiency of winter wheat were analyzed. The rational application scheme of ?-PGA was put forward. The results of the study can preliminarily reveal the effect of ?-PGA on water and fertilizer conservation,it provides a theoretical basis for improving the utilization efficiency of water and fertilizer.
