With the rapid development and maturity of computer technology, the technology of pump station automation has achieved certain development since 1990 s.However, there are still many problems in the implementation of pump station automation throughout the country.Compared with foreign countries, the control and management of domestic pumping station is still in a relatively backward situation. In the aspect of electrical control, the degree of automation monitoring is low, most of the pump stations only have single-stage manual conventional control. In terms of management level, most of the management records and statistics of pump stations are manual operation, and their control and management have not formed a regional network,so it is necessary to put forward higher requirements for the existing electrical automation of pump stations. At present, the operation and management of the pump station project in the headwater area of Yellow River water diversion in Zhengzhou mainly relies on manual means, and operates with backward technology and low automation level. It cannot meet the operation and management requirements of modern water conservancy and the project itself,as well as the demand for water delivery in the industrial park. Therefore,it is necessary to update and transform the existing projects with the automation and information to achieve the automatic control of project operation and realize informatization management. The main aim of this informatization construction is to build a water delivery monitoring system, which is suitable for the headwater area of Yellow River water diversion. The system adopts the combination of wired and wireless method and application of object-oriented VB.NET language. It realizes the centralized monitoring of booster pump,valve,high-voltage switch and relatively dispersed deep well flexibly pump, and conveniently and completely the data collection, conversion, storage, alarm and control. The system also adopts optimization algorithm to optimize the scheduling of deep well pump and booster pump,so as to realize the economic operation of the system, and ensure the stability and reliability of the water delivery system in the headwater area.
