Now,intensive precision and intelligence is the trend of agricultural industry.So,it is necessary to monitor kinds of factor of agricultural production accurately and effectively in real time.Agricultural IOT became an important support technology for current agriculture,and it base on the sensor to obtain data and the transmission network to bear data.To choose a bearing network which is suitable to transmit a mass of data in a complex environment with interference is a problem for people,because of the limit of processing capacity of sensor.In the African continent,the infrastructure is relatively backward in technique,there is a lack of reliable basic platform for the information construction in various industries,the natural environment is wide and sparse,and the cost of building an independent and proprietary network is very high.Under such conditions,to build the optical fiber network directly and realize the leapfrog development of technology is a choice.Through the construction of optical fiber access network,in addition to meeting the ordinary communication needs of users,the existing public network resources are utilized to provide a basic network that can be operated for the agricultural Internet of things.With reference to the construction practice of a farm in Nigeria,this paper based on the basis of the public data network with relatively simple,relativelyinexpensive small LTE base station coverage for the IOT agriculture solutions to explore,using various means to share,to reduce the comprehensive cost,tries to find out a kind of low cost,high reliability,and can meet the needs of the business more agricultural Internet coverage scheme.The main results are as follows:(1)From the perspective of research background,actual business requirements,key technologies of carrying LTE small base station in GPON network,and network design,this scheme has been studied in depth;(2)Demonstrated the feasibility of the deployment of the GPON based FTTX network in the agricultural production area and the use of the network to carry the LTE small base station return service;(3)Design the network and complete the deployment of FTTX access network base on GPON technology,the data access service for the public based on optical fiber access network,bearing LTE small cell,based on optical fiber access network have been completed for the various nodes information especially agriculture IOT terminal access services,both public voice business;(4)Through the actual test of the construction results,it verified that the GPON based FTTX network combine with LTE small cell,is one of the solutions to carrying the IOT node backhaul data.
