With annual Tsoongiodendron odorum seedlings used as the experimental object,three-factor and three-level orthogonal design was adopted to study the effects of different NPK ratio fertilization on growth, physiology and photosynthetic characteristics of Tsoongiodendron odorum seedlings.By measuring each index, the growth, physiology and photosynthetic characteristics of Tsoongiodendron odorum under different NPK ratio fertilization were analyzed, the quality of the seedlings was evaluated, and the most suitable combination of fertilization was selected to provide practical guidance for the seedling cultivation and application of Tsoongiodendron odorum seedlings. The results are as follows:(1)Different NPK ration fertilization could promote the growth and development of Tsoongiodendron odorum seedlings. The plant height increment, ground diameter increment, leaf area, total root length, root surface area, total root volume, average root diameter, number of root tips, root biomass, stem biomass and leaf biomass of each fertilization group were higher than those of the non fertilization group, and the growth indexes of each were the highest in T6(N2P3K1)(urea 2.586g/plant,superphosphate 16.875g/plant,potassium chloride 0.833 g / plant).(2)The effects of different NPK ratio fertilization on the nutrient content of the leaves of the seedlings were different. The N,P and K contents of the leaves in ratio fertilization group were higher than those in the non fertilization group. The N content in leaves of T9(N3P3K2)(urea 3.879g/plant,superphosphate 16.875g/plant,potassium chloride 1.667 g / plant)fertilization group showed the maximum value, the P content in leaves of T6(N2P3K1)fertilization group showed the maximum value, the K content in leaves of T7(N3P1K3)(urea 3.879g/plant,superphosphate 5.625g/plant,potassium chloride 2.500 g / plant)fertilization group showed the maximum value.(3)Compared with July, the content of soluble sugar and soluble protein in each ratio fertilization group increased in different degrees in November. The content of soluble sugar and soluble protein reached the maximum in T6(N2P3K1).The content of soluble sugar and soluble protein decreased in different degrees, and the maximum was in CK group.(4)The effects of different NPK ratio fertilization on the photosynthetic indexes of Tsoongiodendron odorum seedlings were different. The chlorophyll a content, chlorophyll b content, total chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, intercellular carbon concentration and transpiration rate of ratio fertilization group were higher than those of the non fertilization group.Among them, the photosynthetic indexes of ratio fertilization group reached the maximum value in T6(N2P3K1).(5)The effects of different NPK ratio fertilization on the total nutrient content of the soil of Tsoongiodendron odorum seedlings were different. The total N content,P content and K content of the soil in each ratio fertilization group were higher than those in the non fertilization group.Among them, the total N content of the soil in T9(N3P3K2)fertilization group showed the maximum value, the total P content in T6(N2P3K1)fertilization group showed the maximum value, and the total K content in T5(N2P2K3)(urea 2.586g/plant,superphosphate 11.250g/plant,potassium chloride 2.500g/plant)fertilization group showed the maximum value.(6)According to the correlation analysis of each index under different NPK ratio fertilization, there are obvious correlations among the growth indexes, the nutrient content of each leaf, the photosynthetic indexes, the total nutrient content of each soil and the physiological indexes of the seedlings.According to the evaluation of seedling quality,T6(N2P3K1)fertilization group had the best quality of seedlings;Membership function analysis showed that T6(N2P3K1)fertilization group had the best quality of seedlings, which was consistent with the analysis results of seedling quality evaluation and main components analysis. The results showed that T6(N2P3K1)fertilization group was the most suitable for Tsoongiodendron odorum seedlings, which was urea 2.586g/plant,superphosphate 16.875g/plant and potassium chloride 0.833g/plant.
