Natural forest is a product of a long-term interaction between various organisms and the environment,a place where many organisms inhabit and multiply,and it is a dynamic composite system composed of a rich environment of organisms and complex structures,in the global and regional ecological environment.Play an irreplaceable role in maintenance and improvement.Mixed forests are an important afforestation system for sustainable forest management.As the area of mixed forests increases,their management is facing challenges: There is an urgent need to study suitable models for growth prediction and management of mixed forests.This study takes the natural secondary mixed forest of Jiaohe,Jilin as the research object,using the basic data of the initial measurement(2010)and re-measurement(2015)of 528 plots of 20 m × 20 m in the fixed monitoring plot,including DBH,tree For height,crown width and relative position,single tree growth and withering models were established for the eight main tree species using empirical equation methods,namely Acermono,Betula platyphylla Suk.,Fraxinus mandshurica,Ulmus davidiana Planch.,Tilia amurensis,Pinus koraiensis,Padus racemosa And Quercus mongolica Fisch..In modeling,the tree size factor introduced tree height and crown width in addition to the breast diameter.The results show that the model fitting effect using tree height and crown width as independent variables is generally better than the model using breast diameter as independent variable.A comprehensive comparison of the single tree models of the eight tree species found that the most important factor affecting tree growth was the size of the tree itself,followed by competition,and the site factor had little effect on tree growth.This is basically consistent with previous research.The established single-wood model can be used to predict the growth and death dynamics of Jiaohe natural mixed forest,which can provide a reference for forestry departments at all levels to manage forest resources and determine harvesting quotas.It provides guidance for the management and sustainable management of natural forests,and at the same time lays a theoretical foundation for the forest to give full play to its ecological benefits,thereby achieving sustainable forest management.
