In order to use corn stover resources as animal feed effectively,we discussed the the changes of nutrient composition,effective energy value,in vitro digestibility of corn stovers at different freshness,and the fermentation quality of fermentation prepared with lactobacillus(LAB)and Cellulase.Furthermore,we compared the effect of TMR feed prepared with dried corn stover and green corn stover as the main roughage on the growth performance of cattle in the early stage of fattening.Ears of corn were harvested at the maturity stage,and the corn stovers were prepared into silage after exposed to natural weather conditions for 0,2,4,7,15,30,and 60 days.The silage was designed into four groups,no additives,LAB addition,Cellulase addition and LAB+Cellulase addition.After 45 days of anaerobic fermentation,it was opened and analyzed for the chemical composition,effective energy value,fermentation quality and in vitro digestibility of the silage.The dried stover and the green stover were fermented by stretch film wrapping after the harvest of corn ears,and were designed as two treatments of no addition and addition of starter.After 45 days of fermentation,four TMR feeds were prepared and their chemical composition,effective energy value and fermentation quality were analyzed.Four kinds of feed were used to feed the early fattening cows and the growth performance of the cattle was analyzed after 8 weeks.The results of the experiment showed that during the field exposure,the content of dry matter(DM),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),acid detergent fiber(ADF)and acid detergent lignin(ADL)of corn stover increased,while crude protein(CP),The content of water-soluble carbohydrates(WSC)and the in vitro digestibility of DM and CP decreased(P<0.05).Compared with no addition,the addition of Cellulase significantly reduced the NDF and ADF content of silage(P<0.05).Cellulase orLAB+Cellulase significantly lowered the pH value of silage and increased the lactic acid content after added LAB(P<0.05).The lactic acid(LA)and acetic acid(AA)contents of silage from 0 to 4 days were significantly higher than other time periods(P<0.05).Silage supplemented with LAB+Cellulase had the highest lactic acid content,which was significantly higher than other treatments(P<0.05).Added Cellulase and LAB+Cellulase can significantly improved the DM in vitro digestibility(IVDMD)and CP in vitro digestibility(IVCPD)of silage(P<0.05).In 3-factor ANOVA analysis of the chemical composition,effective energy value,fermentation quality and in vitro digestibility of corn stovers,the freshness degree(D)significantly affected all components(P<0.001),and LAB had a significant effect on organic matter(OM),pH,LA and AA(P<0.05),Cellulase addition had a significant effect on CP,NDF,ADF,digestive energy(DE),metabolic energy(ME),maintenance net energy(NEm),milk production net energy(NEl),weight gain net energy(NEg),LA,AA,butyric acid(BA),Ammonia-N/TN and in vitro digestibility of DM,CP,OM and DE(P<0.05).The crude fiber(CF),starch and crude fat(EE)contained in the green corn stover were higher in nutrients than the dried corn stover.After the corn stovers was fermented,the pH of the four packages is below 3.90.For the weight,straight body length and oblique length of cattle,the growth of green straw feeding was significantly higher than that of dried corn stover(P<0.05).In the analysis of the growth performance of fattening cattle by 2-factor ANOVA,the freshness degree of corn stover has an effect on the improvement of body weight,body straight length and body oblique length(P<0.05).The higher freshness degree,the better growth performance of cattleThe results showed that corn stover silage should be prepared with fresh stover materials.LAB and Cellulase can improve the quality of silage fermentation and increase the in vitro digestibility.Compared with dried corn stover,green corn stover with high freshness have higher nutritional value and fermentation quality,and have a better effect on improving the growth performance of fattening cattle.
