In this experiment,through the field test research on the 14 sweet corn varieties introduced,the field traits,ear traits,fresh ear yield and resistance advantages of each variety were comprehensively analyzed,and four new sweet corn varieties suitable for planting in Jilin Province were selected,namely,PZ4,PZ5,PZ10 and PZ14.The density test,topdressing nitrogen fertilizer test and sowing date test were carried out on sweet corn variety PZ14(Jitian15)with excellent comprehensive characters.The test results were as follows: 1.In the density experiment,3500 plants / mu is the optimum planting density of sweet corn Jitian15.Under this planting density,the ear character,plant height,disease resistance and other field characters of sweet corn,reducing sugar content,soluble total sugar content and other quality characters have been improved to a certain extent,but they are lower than the optimum density,resulting in the plant can not make full use of the land and nutrients,and too dense makes it impossible to obtain them To sufficient nutrients,photosynthesis decreased.2.In the experiment of topdressing nitrogen fertilizer,the most suitable fertility gradient is B3(topdressing urea 20 kg / mu).Under this gradient,the yield of sweet corn is significantly increased,disease resistance is enhanced,and quality traits such as protein content have also been improved.While the plants below the optimum gradient were low in production and deficient in nutrients.3.In the experiment of sowing date,the growth speed of corn in early stage is obviously affected by sowing date.C4 and C5 grow faster in early stage under the environment of sufficient rainfall and appropriate temperature.However,the ear yield is also significantly affected with the decline of sowing date.With the delay of sowing date,the ear character and grain yield of maize first increased slightly and then decreased significantly.The reason is that with the delay of sowing date,high temperature in early growth period,the water content was sufficient and the growth was rapid,but the lager temperature difference in the later period,and the accumulated temperature decreased correspondingly,which had a negative impact on the grain filling of sweet corn and resulting in the insufficient grain filling,so that the yield decreased.However,the best sowing date of sweet corn in 2019 is around April 29,and this group of treated corn has better emergence rate.When the crop is mature,the effective accumulated temperature required reaches a certain level and its quality character is better than that of other groups.4.The growth trend of sweet corn was S-shaped in the dynamic experiment of sweet corn growth.The critical period of growth was about 27 to 47 days after emergence.During this period,the plant grows fastest,and the planting density,topdressing nitrogen fertilizer and planting date have no affect on the growth trend of corn.
