Compared with plants growing in the wild environment, campus plant-s have many artificial environmental factors due to the influence of hard paving and dense crowd activities, and plants themselves respond to changes in their environment, which vary from plant to plant. In this paper,in summer and winter,to the six garden tree species in the campus of Guangxi university as the research object, including Michelia alba DC.,Sa raca dives P-ierre,Ficus concinna L.f.,Mangifera indica Linn.,Mangifera persiciformis C.Y.Wu & T.L.Ming,Osmanthus fragrans var.Thunbergi i Makino,to compare the anatomical structure, functional characters and physiological characteristics of tree leaves in different gardens,it provides th-eoretical reference basis for selection and cultivation of garden garden tre-es in Guangxi university and similar environments. The main research res-ults are as follows:(1)The leaf anatomical structure characteristics of each garden trees were different among garden trees in the same season, and the same structuralcharacteristics of the same garden trees were not significantly different between the two seasons(p>0.05),and the structural characteristics of each garden trees were not significantly affected by the seasons. The leaf Ficus concinna L.f.has thicker epidermis, both Michelia alba DC.and Osmanthus fragrans var.thunbergii Makino have thicker cuticles and higher palisade ratios and thicker palisade tissue and leaf thickness than the other three garden trees. These structural advantages are a sign that plants are responding to adverse conditions.(2)The comparison of SLA,LDMC,LNC,LPC and LKC contents of different garden trees found that only the summer LDMC difference was not significant between garden trees, the other indexes showed significa-nt or extremely significant difference,in summer and winter,SLA minim-um garden trees are Mangifera persiciforma C.Y.Wu & T.L.Ming and F icus concinna L.f.,Mangifera persiciforma C.Y.Wu & T.L.Ming in summe-r than any other garden trees has the characteristics of low SLA high LDMC,and the LNC,LKC and LPC content of Osmanthus fragrans var.t hunbergii Makino was higher than that of other garden trees in two seasons, these functional traits are beneficial for plants to better cope with som-e unfavorable environments.Season has little influence on SLA and LNC content of the same garden trees, but a great influence on LDMC,LPC and LKC content.(3)The results showed that there was no significant difference in the physiological indexes of the six garden trees, among which the relative watercontent of Saraca dives Pierre in summer and winter was the largest and SOD activity was the highest. In addition to the Osmanthus fragrans var.thunbergii Makino, the relative conductivity of other garden trees is generally higher in summer than in winter. The garden trees with the lowest MDA content were different in two seasons. In summer and winter, the two plants with the highest POD activity were Saraca dives Pierre and Mangifera persiciforma C.Y.Wu & T.L.Ming,and the two plants with the highest CAT activity were Mangifera persiciforma C.Y.Wu & T.L.Ming and Ficus concinna L.f..Comparing the same physiological indexes of the same garden trees in summer and winter, the difference rule of other indexes is not obvious except the difference of relative water content.(4)correlation analysis found that some indicators had significant or extremely significant correlation, which can be used as a reference to predict the relationship between relevant indicators in response to the environment;the results obtained from the analysis and evaluation of structural, functional and physiological indicators by fuzzy membership function method are different to some extent, indicating that different types of plant indicators respond to the environment in different ways.
