Toxoplasma gondii(T.gondii)is a food-borne opportunistic pathogen that can infect most mammals, vertebrates, and birds, including humans. The disease caused by T.gondii infection is called toxoplasmosis, which is a globally distributed zoonotic parasitic disease that causes serious health problems for humans and causes huge losses and disasters to the livestock industry. In order to analyze the infection of T.gondii in different swine farms in Lushunkou District,Dalian, this study uses a modified agglutination test(MAT)method to detect 476 serum samples collected from different swine farms in Lushunkou,Dalian. The overall positive rate of T.gondii infection in the samples was 18.3%(87/476),of which the positive rate of fattening pigs was 13.3%(47/353),the positive rate of breeding sows was 32.5%(40/123),and the positive rate of adult pigs was 21.2 %(80/378),the piglet positive rate was 7.1%(7/98).After analysis of the influencing factors,it was found that factors such as region, age, feeding methods and detection methods all had certain effects on the infection rate of T.gondii in this study. This study investigated the prevalence of T.gondii infection in different swine farms in Lushunkou District of Dalian City, and comprehensively analyzed the related influencing factors. The research results provide reference value and theoretical basis for guiding production practice and the formulation of related control measures.
