At the present time,with the limited arable land and the expanding area,the saline-alkali land is becoming the reserved resource in our country which contains huge potential.How to use the saline-alkali effectively is the primary task in seashore rice region.To explore the influence of varieties and sowing amount on rice yield and quality,the experiment was carried out by using water direct-seeded method in the seashore saline-alkali land.By using the"Yan Feng 47(Y)","Yan Jing 939(J)"were bred by Liaoning Provincial Saline-Alkali Land Utilization and Research Institute as materials,the experiment sets five volume(B)levels,respectively 60 kg/hm~2(B1),82.5 kg/hm~2(B2),105 kg/hm~2(B3),127.5 kg/hm~2(B4),150kg/hm~2(B5).Explored the effect on the reproductive characteristics by the different sowing amount of two varieties and its influence on yield and rice quality.The results showed that:(1)The growth period of testing materials were 8?9 days shorter than transplanting rice.Yan Feng 47 matured earlier than Yan Jing 939.Two materials got the highest germination rate at 82.5 kg/hm~2seedling level,respectively 59.99%and 55.66%;two varieties got the highest panicle setting rate respectively are57.14%,57.04%at the same level.Two varieties got the highest rate at 105 kg/hm~2sowing amount,respectively 46.25%,45.65%.At the same time,they had the minimum height.Each period stem tillers dynamics of two varieties at the same amount were significant different in the whole birth process.(2)The increasing percentage of dry matter accumulation in the mature period of two varieties respectively were 14.23%,18.44%at 105kg/hm~2sowing amount,both higher than in the full panicle stage.In the mature period,Yan Feng 47 at 105 kg/hm~2sowing amount,the highest chlorophyll content was 20.41.Yan Jing 939 in 82.5 kg/hm~2sowing amount,the highest chlorophyll content up to 23.02.Under the same seeding amount,average filling rate of Yan Jing 939>Yan Feng 47.The stomatal conductance of two varieties reduced after the first increases with the increasing of sowing amount.Besides the JB5,the net photosynthetic rate of Yan Feng 47>Yan Jing 939.(3)The highest disease incidence of Yan Feng 47 at 127.5 kg/hm~2sowing amount is7.09%,the incidence of Yan Jing 939 when at 105kg/hm~2was as highest as 5.38%.The disease of Yan Feng 47 and Yan Jing 939 was severe in the 150 kg/hm~2sowing amount,the highest disease index reached 3.15%,3.19%respectively.At the same sowing level,the lodging index of two varieties were significantly different.When the sowing amount was 105kg/hm~2,two varieties got the highest flexural capacity and the lodging resistance,the lodging index of two varieties increased after the first decrease with sowing amount increasing.(4)At 105kg/hm~2sowing amount,two varieties got the highest yield,Yan Feng47was 8479.20kg/hm~2,Yan Jing939 was 7391.40kg/hm~2.When at the same sowing amount,Yan Feng 47's yield was higher than Yan Jing 939.At the five levels,Yan Feng 47's yie ld was higher than Yan Jing 939 respectively1054.95kg/hm~2,858.60kg/hm~2,1087.80kg/h m~2,1205.40kg/hm~2,1103.25kg/hm~2.The yield of Yan Feng 47 at different amounts were YB3>YB2>YB1>YB4>YB5.The yield of Yan Jing939 at different amounts were J B3>JB2>JB1>JB4>JB5.The yield of two varieties decreased after the first increase with the increasing sowing amount.(5)The rice quality of Yan Jing 939 were better than Yan Feng 47 in all the sowing conditions.The maximum eating value of Yan Jing 939 is 85.00,it was under the sowing amount at 105kg/hm~2,with the 127.5 kg/hm~2,Yan Feng 47 got the highest eating value is74.00.The eating value of Yan Feng 47 reduced obviously with the increasing sowing amount,but the protein content and rice value increased firstly and then reduced.Compared with Yan Jing 939,the high sowing amount affected the Yan Feng 47 obviously,the eating value decreased evidently.
