Ticks are arthropods that can suck blood. Most of them live on the surface of vertebrates such as mammals and reptiles.Ticks are the storage host and transmission vector of a variety of natural epidemic disease pathogens, and the large number of pathogens carried on their bodies can bring harm to the host.Liaoning Province is rich in forest and vegetation resources, has a wide variety of animal species, and has relatively developed animal husbandry.Abundant species resources and vegetation resources provide conditions for the growth and development of ticks and the spread of tick-borne diseases. However, investigations on the distribution of tick species and the main pathogens carried by ticks in Liaoning Province are still relatively scarce. In order to effectively prevent and control tick-borne diseases and understand the distribution and composition of tick species in Liaoning Province, this experiment focuses on the investigation and study of ticks in some areas of Liaoning Province.Species distribution and main pathogens carried by ticks. In this experiment, samples were collected at 19 sampling points in four urban areas in Liaoning Province. The collected samples are processed and then counted and stored in the warehouse. The ticks in each area are selected for morphological identification under a microscope, and the distribution of tick species in each area is determined with molecular biology identification, and the tick carrying in each area is detected by PCR.The main pathogen. In this experiment,a total of 2579 ticks were collected from 19 sampling points, and four tick species were identified, namely H.longicornis,I.persulcatus,and D.silvarum.)And H.concinna.The survey results showed that the dominant tick species in the 19 sampling sites was Haemaphysalis longhorned.A total of 5 pathogens were detected at the 19 sampling points involved in the experiment: 296 Dabieshan virus was detected, with an average infection rate of 11.48%;240 Alongshan virus were detected, with an average infection rate of 9.31%;Rickettsia was detected 116 cases with an average infection rate of 4.50%;410 cases of anaplasma were detected with an average infection rate of 15.90%;25 cases of Theileria were detected with an average infection rate of 0.97%.Among them, the infection rate of Dabieshan virus,Alongshan virus and anaplasma is relatively high, and the coverage is wide.
