Objective: To explore and evaluate the significance of procalcitonin and high sensitivity c-reactive protein in early diagnosis of nosocomial septicemia in premature infants by comparing with traditional bacterial infection markers. Methods: Collected between January 2014 and December 2017 neonates admitted in our hospital newborn(3-28 days of age)a total of 103 cases for the study.According to the hospital diagnosis is divided into sepsis group, sepsis and severe complications, local infection and the infection group, respectively collected clinical data and laboratory indexes, including routine blood, allergic CRP,PCT,etc.,to relevant statistical data. Results: 1.there was no significant difference in the total index of white blood cell count, heart rate and platelet count in sepsis group, sepsis and complication group, local infection group and non infection group(P>0.05).2.PCT values in the control group and the local infection group were mostly <0.5 ng/m L.Most of the >0.5 ng/m L in the sepsis group were higher than those in the >10ng/m L group, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.001).3.There were significant differences in the results of PCT,hypersensitivity CRP and WBC,HR and PLT in septicemia group(P< 0.05).The positive rate, sensitivity and specificity of PCT were higher than those of hypersensitivity-CRP,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.PCT and high sensitivity CRP have high positive rate and sensitivity in early diagnosis of sepsis in premature infants, which is of great value in early clinical diagnosis 2.The positive rate of PCT and hypersensitive CRP was significantly higher than that in WBC,HR and PLT,and the results were statistically significant(P< 0.05).The positive rate, sensitivity and specificity of PCT were higher than that of hypersensitivity-CRP,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.PCT has a clear indication of the severity of sepsis and its complications, which can be used to guide the use of antibiotics.
