| ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect and mechanism of Armillariella Oral Solution(AOS)on rats with chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).MethodThe model of experimental CAG was constructed in SD rats. After the model of CAG was successfully copied, the model replication group was randomly divided into model group(negative control group),positive control group(weifuchun),and low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose AOS groups. Then, the rats were intragastrically given corresponding drugs for 30 days. The pathological changes of gastric mucosa was observed by HE and AB-PAS staining, and the expressions of programmed cell death 4(PDCD4)was detected by immunohistochemistry.Associated marker proteins of EMT was detected by immunohistochemistry. The ultrastructure of gastric mucosa was observed by microscope.Meanwhile, the activity of pepsin, the gastric juice pH and secretion was examined.ResultCompared with the normal group, the pH of gastric juice in model group was increased. The activity of pepsin, the secretion of gastric juice and the expressions of PDCD4 in model group were significantly decreased. In addition the gastric mucosa was atrophied in model group.Compared with the model group, the pH of gastric juice was decreased.,while other indicators were significantly increased and the atrophic gastric mucosa was inhibited in AOS medium and high dose groups. Conclusion It is possible to effectively inhibit the atrophy of mucosal and glands in rats with chronic atrophic gastritis. Its mechanism may be related to the effect of up-regulated expression of PDCD4 protein on EMT. |
