Comparative Analysis Of Clinical Characteristics And Related Laboratory Detection Of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus(SLE) Between Children And Adults

ObjectiveBy analyzing the clinical data of children SLE and adult SLE,the differences and similarities of the first symptom of patients,the situation of renal damage and the laboratory test between the two cases were obtained.The diagnostic characteristics of SLE in children drawn help to achieve early diagnosis and early treatment,further decreases recurrence rate in children,and improves the quality of life.MethodsThe clinical data of children SLE patients and adult SLE patients were first collected.And then the similarities and differences in the first symptom,renal damage,inflammation index,complement level and specific autoantibody detection between the two groups were sumed up retrospectively.Statistical analysis was performed using statistical software to obtain relevant conclusions.Results1.There was no significant statistical difference in gender between the two groups(P>0.05).but the SLEDAI score in the children group was higher than that in the adult group(P<0.05).2.1n children group fever was the most common first symptom,while in adult group atypical erythematic and joint pain were more common(P<0.05).3.The incidence of renal damage in the children group was higher than that in the adult group.In particular,the III and IV type were more common(P<0.05).The_renal function in children group changed more slowly compared with adult group(P<0.05).4.The incidence of erythrocyte,white blood cell and lymphocyte decrease in children group was lower than that in adult group,but the incidence of white blood cells decline was higher in mild patients than that in adult group(P<0.05).5.The proportion of CRP elevation in severe children group was lower compared to that in adult group(P<0.05).While the ratio of dsDNA positive was higher than that in adult group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in erythrocyte sedimentation rate,antinuclear antibody and ENA spectrum between the two groups(P>0.05)ConclusionCompared with the adult group,initially diagnosed symptoms of children SLE were atypical,mainly fever;renal function did not change significantly when kidney damage occurred;and part of the serological examination of mild patients were more obvious,which could be the key point for early diagnosis in clinic.
