SUBJECT Clinical and Experimental Study onTreating Systemic Lupus Erythematosuswith Qingjiebuyang DecoctionMAJOR:Internal Medicine of TCM The study of Immune DiseaseWRITER:Yu ZuoWenTUTOR:Professor Zhou CuiYingAbstractIn the paper,based on the theory of TCM and integrated traditional and western medicine,in aspects of theory,clinic and experiment,the cause,pathogenesis and therapeutic method of SLE was explored systematic ally.The study suggests that the main pathogenesis of SLE is retention of noxious heat an deficiency of both Xin and Shen .Based on it,the therapy of eliminating heat and toxic material,calining Xin down and nourishing Shen.So we constitued the Qingjiebuyang decoction.Jn clinical observation,20 cases of SLE were treated with Qingjiebuyang decoction and Prednisolone.And the other 20 cases were treated with Tripterygium wiefordii hook T2 and Prednisolone.The results showed that the Qingjiebuyang decoction lessened the content of IL-i and IL-6 in blood serum.At the same time,it also inreased the content of IL-2.The results are parallel with the symptom.The totle effective rate of the curative group is 85%,which is obviously superior to that of the control group (75%).The laboratory examinations also certified that this decoction could markedly made the contents of IL - land IL-6 that were produced in self-immune-syndrome small rat caused by bacteria fallen.Moreover,it added the quatities of IL-2. On the other hand, it increased the percent of the Lyt-2~, disgraded the rate of L3T4/Lyt-2~ and depressed the swelling of the mice's feet caused by egg white. Finally, combined with the results of clinical and experimental study , the mechanism of this decoction was discussed.
