Objective: To explore the effect of family-centered postpartum dietary guidance on breastfeeding so as to provide the basis for effective postpartum dietary guidelines and improvement of postpartum breastfeeding.Methods: A non-randomized and non-concurrent research was conducted to avoid inter-group contamination.The clinical data between 50 cases of mothers in the observation group from March to April 2016 and 50 cases in the control group from May to June 2016 were compared.Maternal women in the observation group were given home-centered postpartum dietary instructions and the control group was given routine instructions.The mothers and their family members were investigated by using the general information questionnaire,breastfeeding knowledge questionnaire,nutrition knowledge questionnaire,the breastfeeding efficacy questionnaire,and the 24-hour diet questionnaire on the first day after parturition and 3 months postpartum.Diet composition was analysis by 3 day 24 hour recall and the dietary data were analyzed by type of food.The hair of mothers was collected to detect maternal vitamins and minerals on the first day after parturition.Set up an intervention team to establish good relationships with mothers and their families,Then guide and formulate postpartum diet plans and provide detailed explanations to maternal family members.Introduce maternal dietary knowledge,breastfeeding knowledge,maternal and neonatal care skills to family members,and encourage maternity family members Participate in the entire intervention process to encourage the maternal family members to actively participate in the care of the mothers and babies.We should recognize the family members' willingness to actively participate in maternal and newborn care,and coordinate the relationship between the mothers and their families.Set up a "family" communication platform through We Chat group and regularly visit home for guidance.The control group was given routine instructions to inform the maternal about postnatal dietary considerations,postpartum nutritional knowledge,breastfeeding knowledge,methods of nursing perineum,neonatal umbilical cord care,and newborn bathing methods.The intervention lasts 3 months.Three months after delivery.Maternal breastfeeding knowledge,maternal family nutrition knowledge,maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy,maternal daily diet composition,maternal body vitamin and mineral detection indicators,and postpartum 3 months of exclusive breastfeeding rate were investigated as observation indicators.Results(1)The scores of breastfeeding knowledge of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P <0.05)after intervention.(2)After intervention,the self-efficacy scores of breastfeeding women in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P <0.05).(3)The score of nutrition knowledge of pregnant women in observation group after intervention was significantly higher than that before intervention(P <0.001)and the control group(P <0.05).(4)After the intervention,the average daily intake of cereal grains,daily intake of fruits and daily intake of dairy foods in the observation group were significantly higher than those before the intervention(P <0.05)and the control group(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in average daily intake of meat and poultry,fish and shrimp,eggs,soybeans,nuts and cooking oil in observation group and control group after intervention P> 0.05)(5)After intervention,the detection indexes of vitamins C,calcium and iron in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P <0.05).After intervention,the levels of vitamin A,vitamin B1,vitamin B6,Vitamin B12,vitamin D,vitamin E,zinc,selenium,lead,potassium,iodine,aluminum and copper had no statistical significance(P> 0.05).(6)After the intervention,the only breastfeeding rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group at 1 month,2 months and 3 months postpartum,with significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusiong(1)Family-centered post-natal dietary guidance can effectively enhance the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers and their families.(2)Family-centered postpartum dietary guidance conducive to promoting maternal postpartum diet scientific rationalization(3)Family-centered post-natal dietary guidance can effectively enhance the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers.(4)Family-centered postnatal dietary guidance can improve the self-efficacy of breastfeeding of mothers(5)Family-centered postpartum dietary guidance helps to improve maternal post-natal early exclusive breastfeeding rates.
