ObjectiveTo statistical analysis and preliminary summarythe characteristics of prostate disease characteristics with different ages, different serum PSA rangein hospitalized patients with elevated prostate specific antigen who were found in physical examination in specific time segments at specific hospitals. The detection rate of prostate-specific antigen in different intervals of prostate cancer in specific groups, and make a preliminary comparison with relevant bulk statistics at home and abroadMaterials and MethodsA total of 858 patients with elevated prostate specific antigen who were found in physical examination were collected from Sichuan Province People's Hospital from December 2014 to December 2017,The age distribution was between 41 and 94 years old, with an average age of 70.7 years old,By age group, the standard population age composition adopts the WHO Segi's world standard population age composition,The age incidence was 10 years old and was divided into 5 groups(41?50?51?60?61?70?71?80?>80 years).Collect related data on specific hospitalized patients,According to some data statistical analysis that the characteristics of prostate diseases with different ranges of PSA levels and age interval in serum and Different serum PSA ranges for prostate puncture on specific hospitalized patients. In addition, the relationship between PSA elevation and different age ranges and prostate diseases was discussed, and the detection rate of prostate-specific antigen in different intervals of prostate cancer in serum..ResultsOf the 858 specific hospitalized patients,632 underwent prostate puncture biopsy, and 302 cases of prostate cancer were confirmed,With the increasing age, different age groups showed different characteristics of prostate disease. In this specific group of people,it is as follows,There were 302 cases of prostate cancer and 556 cases of no-prostate cancer, respectively, accounting for 35.2%and 64.8%,The analysis of non-prostate cancer subgroups showed that benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatitis were included in the non-prostate cancer group,The difference between different groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).From this study,The incidence of prostate cancer increases with age. This study shows that the age of prostate cancer is concentrated in 61-80 years. In different PSA ranges, the detection rate of prostate cancer is different,The results of this study are as follows,The number of patients with PSA(4-10ng/ml)was 125,and 33 cases of prostate cancer were diagnosed, and the positive rate of puncture was 26.4%.72 cancer patients were diagnosed in 193 patients with PSA(10-20ng/ml)by prostate biopsy, the positive rate of puncture was 37.3%.197 cancer patients were diagnosed in 314 patients with PSA(>20ng/ml)by prostate biopsy, the positive rate of puncture was 62.7%.The serum psa4-20ng/ml and PSA>20ng/ml were analyzed,The number of punctures was 318 and 314,respectively.The positive rate of puncture was 33.0%and 62.7%respectively.The above results are somewhat different from domestic and foreign data, because it is a sample of physical examination that shows elevated PSA and hospitalization. This study shows that the detection rate of prostate cancer increases gradually with the increasing of PSA.There were statistically significant differences between the groups.By piercing the negative situation can be concluded that, when the low serum PSA(4-20 ng/ml)rises,as in prostate disease on hyperplasia of prostate disease, when the serum PSA(>20 ng/ml),prostate cancer as the main diseases in prostate disease. This result has certain similarities with the relevant results at home and abroad, and there are also certain differences.Conclusion1.Under specific crowd conditions, physical examination revealed that elevated PSA is clearly associated with the composition of prostate disease in middle-aged and elderly men and the incidence of prostate cancer.Compared with bulk data at home and abroad, there are also similarities and differences, this is related to specific population, sample size,ethnicity,etc;2.This retrospective statistical analysis has certain clinical reference significance for the screening of prostate cancer under specific conditions;3.This retrospective statistical analysis will inevitably have some bias due to the small sample size, certain populations, etc.,and further exploration and comparison are needed.
