Objective:We investigated the prognostic factors of recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer by analyzing the information of 70 patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer who were admitted to the First Hospital of Jilin University from January 2008 to February 2018.Methods:A total of 70 patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer admitted to the Department of oncology of the First Hospital of Jilin University from January 2008 to January 2018 were included in our study. We record the detailed information of patient's age, number of pregnancies, number of abortion, menopausal status, clinical stage, histologic classification, vascular cancer embolus, time from the end of primary chemotherapy to recurrence, recurrence site, largest lesion, lymph node metastasis, ascites, secondary cytoreductive surgery,follow-up and survival tim and analyse the relationship between those factors and prognosis.Results:1.Patient's age, number of pregnancies, age of menopause, menopausal status, clinical stage, recurrence site and metastatic site had no statistical significance on the survival time of recurrent EOC.2.The Kaplan-Meier curve showed that there was a statistical significance in the survival time from the end of primary chemotherapy to recurrence, largest lesion, lymph node metastasis, ascites, histologic classification, secondary cytoreductive surgery and vascular cancer embolus.3.The Cox regression analysis showed that time from the end of primary chemotherapy to recurrence, ascites, histologic classification, vascular cancer embolus and largest lesion are independent risk factors for recurrent EOC.Conclusion:1.Patients with high grade, accompanied by vascular cancer embolus are prone to relapse and have a poor prognosis.2.After recurrence, the second tumor cytoreductive surgery and lymph node metastasis are associated with the prognosis of recurrent EOC.3.The time from the end of the first chemotherapy to the time of recurrence, ascites, histologic classification, vascular cancer embolus and largest lesion are independent risk factors for recurrent EOC.The prognosis of patients was poor with recurrence of ascites, from the end of the first chemotherapy to a relapse of less than 6 months, accompanied by vascular tumor embolus, high grade, and recurrence of the largest lesion ? 5cm.
