OBJECTIVE: To investigate survival prognosis of ROC in terms of treatment and related affecting factors.METHODS: Clinical information of 56 patients with ROC treated in our hospital from Juan 1997 to Dec 2004 were reviewed. Survival prognosis was described by Kapalan-Meier curve and analyzed by stratified log-rank test. RESULTS: (1) Survival analysis shows: there is significant difference to indicate that only the number of the postoperative remaining focus affect the survival time of the ROC , excepting the age, histological type, FIGO stage, the primary histological differentiation, the size of the postoperative remain focus, the regimen and cycles of first-line chemotherapy .(2) In Recurrent survival analysis, there is significant difference to indicate that those factors affect the survival time of the ROC, such us TFI, the therapy regimen for the ROC, the second histological differentiation, change of histological differentiation compared to the primary histological differentiation, the satisfying cytoreduction after the SCR and the salvage chemotherapy regimen for the platinum-resistant patients, excepting the size ,number and position of the recurrent focus and the salvage chemotherapy.
