Objectives:To discuss the evaluation of rabbit hepatic lesion after tamoxifen administration by using virtual touch tissue quantification combined with biochemical indicators.Methods:20 female New Zealand rabbits were randomly selected and given gavage with tamoxifan.Using biochemical indicators and ultrasound scanning to evaluate the statistical difference of observation variables pre and post tamoxifen administration.ROCs were analyzed and the areas under the curves were tested.Useful values of these diagnostic indicators were compared.Lastly pathology was performed and pathological findings were used as golden criteria to compare with ultrasonic and biochemical indicators.Combined with several biochemical indicators,ROCs of multiple variables were utilized to attemptResult:1.After using amoxifen TC,TG,ALT and AST were elevated,there were statistical differences compared with before drug use(P<0.05).Compared with the pathological results,the accuracy of ultrasonic diagnosis of hepatic lesion was 77.78%.2.There were no abnormal ultrasonic findings before drug use.After drug use abnormal ultrasonic findings included plump liver contour,enhanced echoes in the hepatic parenchyma,intrahepatic vessels unclearly displaying,etc.The correlation coefficient of ultrasound and pathology was r=0.553(p<0.05).3.VTQ values were elevated post drug use when compared with pre drug use.4.ROCs showed that the AUC of using TC to diagnose the hepatic lesion post amoxifen use was 0.792(0.573,1.000),the sensitivity and specificity were 75.5% and 66.7%,the corresponding value was 5.005mmol/L.The AUC of using TG to diagnose the hepatic lesion post amoxifen use was 0.799(0.573,1.000),the sensitivity and specificity were 75.0% and 83.3%,the corresponding value was 4.16mmol/L.The AUC of using VTQ to diagnose the hepatic lesion post amoxifen use was(AUC)0.792(0.573,1.000),the sensitivity and specificity were 83.3%?83.3%,the corresponding value was 1.27 mmol/L.The AUC of using ALT and AST to diagnose the hepatic lesion post amoxifen use were(AUC)0.785(0.573,0.996)(P=0.068),0.538(0.263,0.814)(P=0.805).The AUC of using multiple combined criteria to diagnose the hepatic lesion post amoxifen use were(AUC)0.937(0.829,1.000).the rate of diagnosis of hepatic lesion was significantly higher than that of any single indicator(P=0.003).Conclusions:Therefore,this method of VTQ with multiple indicators is expected to become a new standard for hepatic lesion post tamoxifen administration.
