| Objectives: To investigate the correlation between depressive symptoms and serum oxidative stress index(MDA,NO,SOD and GSH-Px)and inflammation index(TNF-α,IL-1,IL-6).Methods: In this study,40 patients with depression in our hospital from 1-9 months of 2016 were treatment group.40 healthy volunteers were selected as normal control group.Venlafaxine(75mg/d)was given after breakfast for the control group in the first week, from the second week to the eighth week the dosage of venlafaxine increased to 150mg/d.The evaluation indexes include Hamilton depression scale and serum inflammation index which including TNF-alpha and IL-6 and IL-1),content of oxidative stress index MDA(Malondialdehyde)and no(nitric oxide),activity of antioxidant enzymes of SOD(superoxide dismutase)and GSH-Px(glutathion peroxidase).Results:1.There was no statistic difference between two groups in gender、age 、BMI、systolic pressure、diastolic pressure、heart rate、body temperature and respiratory rates.2.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of HAMD of the two group(t=7.752,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of HAMD of the two groups(t=1.773,P<0.001).At eighth week, there was statistically decreased of treatment group’s HAMD(t=4.558,P<0.001).3.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of MDA of the two group(t=5.341,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of MDA of the two groups(t=0.172,P=0.864).There was statistically decreased of treatment group’s MDA(t=2.364,P=0.012).4.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of NO of the two group(t=11.674,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of NO of the two groups(t=0.317,P=0.752).There was statistically decreased of treatment group’s NO(t=2.571,P=0.012).5.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of SOD of the two group(t=6.382,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of SOD of the two groups(t=1.9,P=0.061).There was statistically rised of treatment group’s SOD(t=13.528,P<0.001).6.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of GSH-Px of the two group(t=6.982,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of GSH-Px of the two groups(t=0.591,P=0.056).There was statistically rised of treatment group’s GSH-Px(t=6.586,P<0.001).7.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of TNF-αof the two group(t=9.375,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of TNF-α of the two groups(t=1.555,P=0.124).There was statistically decreased of treatment group’s TNF-α(t=12.823,P<0.001).8.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of IL-1 of the two group(t=8.938,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of IL-1 of the two groups(t=1.733,P=0.124).There was statistically decreased of treatment group’s IL-1(t=15.264,P<0.001).9.Before treatment,There was statistically difference of IL-6 of the two group(t=23.563,P<0.001).There was no statistically difference after the treatment of IL-6 of the two groups(t=1.115,P=0.268).There was statistically decreased of treatment group’s IL-6(t=18.39,P<0.001).10.There are correlation between depressive symptoms and serum oxidative stress index(MDA,NO,SOD and GSH-Px)and inflammation index(TNF-,IL-1,IL-6).Conclusion: Depressive symptoms are positively correlated with the levels of oxidative stress and inflammation in patients with depression. |
