Objective:In this paper,a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the prevalence of IBS in some populations in Changyi City People's Hospital and to obtain the prevalence rate of IBS in Changyi District.The preliminary analysis of the IBS classification of TCM syndromes and the analysis of various syndromes were conducted.The relationship between living eating habits,mental health and other factors provides a basis for basic research and clinical treatment.Method:1.The object of the study was part of the physical examination of Changyi City People's Hospital from August to December 2017.2.Using the method of questionnaire survey,the author fills in the content of the questionnaire in a question and answer manner.3.The questionnaires integrated the experiences of seniors,including the general conditions of the surveyed people,living eating habits,disease-inducing factors,and symptoms of western medicine,basic symptoms of Chinese medicine,and symptoms of IBS.The diagnosis of IBS was based on Rome III criteria.Result:1.Among the questionnaires surveyed,there were 1,076 valid questionnaires,of which602 were men and 474 were women.The oldest men were 69 years old and women were 67 years old.The youngest men were 17 years old and women were 16 years old.2.There were 144 IBS patients whose symptoms met the Rome III criteria.The prevalence rate was 13.38%.There were 75 male IBS patients and 69 female IBS patients.3.The IBS patients whose symptoms met the Rome III criteria were classified into 63 cases of constipation,55 cases of diarrhea,21 cases of mixed type,and 5 cases of indefinite type.Among the different types of IBS,there were 27 male IBS-D,30 IBS-C,15 IBS-M,and 3 IBS-U;28 female IBS-D,IBS-C33,and IBS-M 6,IBS-U 2 cases.4.For patients with IBS whose symptoms meet Rome III criteria,TCM syndrome classification was performed.Thirty-one patients with liver qi stagnation,30 with spleen andstomach deficiency,21 with liver-qi spleen syndrome,26 with large heat-intestinal syndrome,and 14 with cold and hot inclusion.5.Univariate analysis found that dietary carelessness(including overeating,eating unclean),spicy diet,lack of exercise,anxiety,alcohol consumption,and other factors accounted for a high proportion of patients with IBS symptoms.After regression verification,age,gender,smoking,drinking,and spicy diet have a positive effect on IBS.6.In terms of labor intensity,of the 144 patients with IBS,126 were mild manual workers and 18 were moderate manual workers.7.Of the 144 patients with IBS whose symptoms met the Rome III criteria,there were50 in the age range 41-50 years and 41 between 51-60 years old,the highest incidence age range found in this survey.Conclusion:The prevalence of Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS)was 13.38% among some people in Changyi City People's Hospital.In the IBS syndrome classification,IBS-C is the most,and the IBS-C is the least.Inadequate diet(including overeating,unclean diet),spicy diet,lack of exercise,smoking,alcohol and other factors are important predisposing factors in the pathogenesis of IBS.Women are more prone to IBS than men.In the different age ranges,the prevalence rate was highest in the 41-50 age group,and the lowest rate was below 25 years old.The degree of labor has a negative effect on the incidence of IBS.In the classification of TCM syndromes,liver qi stagnation accounted for a high proportion,and cold and hot inclusions accounted for the least proportion.
