Objective: To investigate the changes of serum HBV DNA and AFP levels and their correlation in patients with primary Hepatitis b-related liver cancer treated by transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE).Methods: 42 patients with HBV-related liver cancer diagnosed in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shihezi University and treated with TACE were selected from October,2015 to October,2017.The changes of HBV DNA and AFP level before and after TACE were observed and the correlation was analyzed.Results:1.After TACE treatment,9 patients had positive HBV DNA level before operation and 3patients had negative HBV DNA level after operation. There was no significant difference in HBV DNA level before and after operation(P=0.146).2.After TACE,the AFP level of 42 patients was lower than that before TACE,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.000).3.There was no correlation about the changes of HBV DNA and AFP level after TACE in 42patients(P=0.108).Conclusion:1.There was no obvious correlation between the changes of HBV DNA level and AFP level after TACE.2.After TACE,the change of HBV DNA level could not reflect the effect of TACE.
