The Outstanding Doctor Education and Cultivation Program is an important orientation as well as content of clinical medical education.It is all known that medical education undertakes the important task of cultivating medical talents in China,and the education and management of medical students play a critical role therein,which has become a heated concern in medical education.The innovation of medical students’ education and management is extraordinarily significant for the cultivation of outstanding doctors with strong humanities and clinical foundation and high qualities and skills.This paper takes the management of students in medical colleges and universities as the research object to find out their characteristics including heavy study burden,lack of human spirit,weak management team and weak students’ self-consciousness.The analysis of current students’ management status shows that the outdated managing philosophy in medical students’ affairs fails to meet the demand of outstanding doctors’ education,that the counselors as the management team need to improve their own humanistic spirit,and that there exist administraiton of management,utilitarianism of talent’s cultivation and shortage of human care.Moreover,problems in medical students’ self-management also have been exposed as follows.Student-orientation concept has been given less attention;outdated management philosophy and regulation go against the cultivation of students’ self-consciousness;students’ self-management evaluation is insufficient in credibility and there exists serious formalism in extracurricular activities,failing to realize the function of moral education.Based on the requirements of the outstanding doctor education and cultivation Program,this paper puts forward four strategies to enhance medical students’ humanistic spirit and their subjectivity.Firstly,it’s time to resume people-oriented education philosophy.Secondly,students’ self-management should be guided by subjectivity education theory.Thirdly,teaching and learning is supposed to be carried out with reference to social constructionism.Lastly,Establishing the system of physical education by teaching and educating people,managing and educating people and educating people from their own management.
