Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus is a perennial deciduous woody vine,which belongs to the genus of Schisandra,Magnoliaceae.Its fruits can be used as medicine,and was firstly recorded in "Shen Nong's Materia Medica",it has the effects of astringent,supplementing qi and promoting the production of body fluid,nourishing kidney and quieting the heart.In recent years,due to the increasing attention paid to the medicinal value of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus,market demand has sharp increased,which resulted in overexploitation of resources,the degeneration of habitats and a reduction in the amount of wild resources.It was included in the National List of Key Protected Species of Wild Herbs as the third level of protection of wild medicinal species.In 1984,the 76 Medicinal Product Specification Standards that jointly released by the State Administration of Drugs and the Ministry of Public Health described the product specifications of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus.However,after more than 30 years of development,this standard is no longer applicable to the current Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus market,and has lost its guiding influence on the market.This paper is based on the herbalism study on Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus,after combination of the survey into the its market and place of origin,we establish new grade standards for dividing commodity specifications,conduct quantitative analysis on the index component,discuss and analyze the newly established grade standards for dividing commodity specifications after combination of chemometrics.At the same time,electronic nose and near-infrared technology were used to establish the evaluation model,which provided a reference for quick evaluation of the quality and grade of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus.The research results of this project are summarized as follows:1.Herbal Research of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus shows that as a medicinal herb,Schisandra sphenanthera has a long history of being used as drugs,Rehd.et Wils is widely used in ancient and modern times as a medicinal herb of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.In addition,the ancient Schisandra was produced in Shanxi,Shanxi,Sichuan,Gansu and other places are basically consistent with the current production areas.The quality evaluation is based on how big the fruits,fruits that haveoiliness and luster are optimal.2.The results of market and place of origin surveys show that transactions in the Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus market are turbulent and the criterias adopted in the market and production areas are not consistent.The price difference is relatively large.There are grading divisions but and no uniform standard.3.According to the current market conditions,a draft standard for the product specification grade of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus medicinal materials was formulated and divided into one specification and three grades of wild medicinal herbs.The classification criteria for each grade are: first-class diameter ? 5.05 mm,second-class diameter 4.25 mm to 5.05 mm,The third class has a diameter of 1.80 mm to 4.25 mm.4.The UPLC method was used to analyze the contents of schisandrin,anmolol and schisandrin A in Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus,which shows that the contents of the three index components in the major medicinal herbs market and production areas were quite different,and the contents were uneven,but there was no significant difference in the total content of the three index components among different drug markets.Based on the established product specification grade standard,and by One-way ANOVA and other chemometric methods,the correlation analysis between the commercial grade and the internal index component content of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus medicinal materials showed that the three grades of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus differ greatly in the content of content of Schisantherin,Anwuligan and deoxyschizandrin(p<0.05).The content of the first-class ingredients was the lowest,the content of the third-grade ingredients was the highest,and the level was significantly correlated with the index components(p<0.01).5.Quantitative analysis model of schisandrin,anwulignan and deoxyschizandrin were established by utilization of near-infrared spectroscopy.The correlation coefficient R of the three models are all bigger than 0.85,which could be applied to quality control and grade of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus.6.The results of variance analysis of the synthetical index of the odor of Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus from different origins showed that there was a significant difference in odor of the electronic nose of the Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus from different areas(P<0.05).The correlation analysis between the electronic nose response value and the index components showed that only the content of anhydroligol was significantly correlated with the maximum response values of the electronic nose sensors W1 C and W5 C,and they all showed a certain degree of negative correlation.
