Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical effect and safety of the self-made Yin Qiao Qing Xin granule in the treatment of children,s viral myocarditis or so called “Wind-Heat in Heart” in traditional Chinese medicine concept.Method: From March 2016 to December 2017,60 cases of confirmed viral myocarditis cases in the pediatric outpatient department of Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital of Hebei Province were included in this study according to the inclusion criteria.The patients were divided into control and observation group according to the random number table method.Patients in control group were treated by Vitamin C for Injection,Creatine Phosphate Sodium for injection and Redlining Injection respectively solved in 5%glucose solution by intravenous administration,while the patients in the observation group were treated with Yin Qiao Qing Xin granule on the bases of the prescription of the control group.Yin Qiao Qing Xin granule was administrated one dose a day and drunk in the morning and evening separately.Total treatment course was 10 days.Clinical symptoms and signs,myocardial enzymes,cardiac troponin I,and electrocardiogram were comparatively evaluated before and after the treatment.All the data were statistical analysis,then evaluate the clinical effect of the prescription.Results:1 The comparison of efficacy Total effective rate of Chinese medical syndrome improve respectively was 96.67% and was 76.67% in observation group and control group after treatment.As compared with control group,Chinese medical syndrome,palpitations,chest distress,chest pain,sore throat,cough and sputum,tongue,and pyrolysis time of the patients in observation group were significantlyimproved(P<0.05).In terms of children dizzy,week the difference of the two group has no statistically significance(P>0.05).2 The comparison of myocardial enzymes and cardiac troponin I The myocardial enzymes and cardiac troponin I levels in two groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05),the observation group is more obvious than control group,which shows statistically significance(P<0.05).3 The comparison of electrocardiogram After treatment,the rate of items of ST-T changes,sinus tachycardia and ventricular premature beats respectively were 90.00%?91.67% and 87.50% in Yin Qiao Qing Xin granule observation group,the control group were42.85%,53.84% and 40.00%.The difference of the two group has statistical significance(P<0.05).4 The function of liver and kidney and blood routine The result shows that the difference of ALT?BUN?SCr?HGB in two groups before the treatment has no statistically significance(P>0.05).The change of the total number of the white blood cells has statistical significance(P<0.05).Indicating that the anomaly white blood cells has returned to normal.5 Adverse reaction The incidence rate of adverse reactions of vomiting and diarrhea respectively was 6.7% and 3.3% in observation group and control group,and the difference of the incidence rate of adverse reactions has no statistically significance(P>0.05).This explains that the safety of observation was better.conclusion:1 Yin Qiao Qing Xin granule has statistically significance on treatment of children,s viral myocarditis(Wind-Heat in Heart).2 Yin Qiao Qing Xin granule was beneficial to children with myocardial enzyme,cardiac troponin I and abnormal electrocardiogram returned to normal.3 Yin Qiao Qing Xin granule had no side effect on liver and kidney function,no serious adverse reaction occurred,and the safety was better.
