Objective: This study aimed to explore the cardiac involvement of pSS patients by color doppler echocardiography.Methods:50 cases of patients with newly diagnosed pSS who visited the Department of Rheumatology,Hebei General Hospital during the period from October 2016 to September 2017 were selected as the case group(pSS group).50 healthy individuals were selected as the control group(HC group),age/sex matched with the p SS patients.Cardiac structure and function, valvular regurgitation, pulmonary artery hypertension and pericardial effusion were messured by color doppler echocardiography in all the patients and controls. Results: The differences of the AOD,LAD,LVSd,LVPWT,RVOT and E between the pSS group and the HC group had stastistical difference(P<0.05).The incidence of mitral regurgitation, tricuspid regurgitation, aortic regurgitation, left ventricular diastolic dysfunction between the two groups had stastistical difference(P>0.05).The level of E in the pulmonary involvement group was lower than that in the non-systematic involvement group(P<0.05).The level of the LVSd in the anti-SSA antibody positive group was lower than that in the anti-SSA antibody negative group, the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between AO and CRP(r = 0.36,P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between LVSd and CRP(r = 0.37,P<0.05).There was a negative correlation between LVPWT and IgA(r =-0.38,P<0.05).Conclusions:1.pSS patients existed the parametric variation of color doppler echocardiography mainly presented as subclinical manifestation. This suggested that the early cardiac involvement in the patients with p SS can be detected by echocardiography.2.AOD and LVSd were positively correlated with CRP in p SS patients, suggesting that inflammatory response played a certain role in the changes of cardiac structure and function in p SS patients.Controlling the inflammation actively may help to prevent cardiovascular complications and improve the prognosis in pSS patients.
