ObjectiveThis study hopes to use a meta-analysis method to systematically and quantitatively analyze the results of multiple independent research studies on the treatment of multiple drug-resistant bacterial infections in Chinese and Western medicine, from the efficacy of the patient to the elimination of bacteria.Systematic evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of TCM-WM therapy in the treatment of multiple drug-resistant bacterial infections in terms of rates, occurrence of adverse reactions, etc.provide objective and reliable evidence-based evidence for the treatment of multiple drug-resistant bacterial infections with integrated Chinese and Western medicine. And help guide clinical decisions and improve the quality of care.MethodsUsing a combination of thematic words and free words,Search China Academic Journals Full-text Database(CNKI),VIP Journal Database(VIP),Wanfang Data,China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),HKMO(Hong Kong,Macau, and Boshuo)Excellent Academic Full Text Repository,Important Conference Full-Text Database,Foreign databases PubMed,Cochrane Library and Embase,Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine library reference database from January 2007 to December 2017 related documents.According to the established inclusion exclusion criteria, the included studies were screened, and the revised Jadad scale was used to score the literature.Meta analysis was performed using statistical software RevMan5.3.The data analysis model was selected based on the heterogeneity results and the results were sensitive after Sex analysis and publication bias assessment.Results1.Initially retrieved 317 documents, after screening, the final included in the study was 11 articles, all of which were Chinese documents,of which one was a master's degree thesis and the other 10 were articles published in the journal.Using the modified Jadad score scale to score the quality of the literature,a score of 7 was assigned to the high-quality literature;the remaining 10 were rated at 1-3,and the quality of the literature was low.2.Meta analysis using statistical software RevMan 5.3,the results suggest that the total effective rate of multi-drug resistant infections in combination with traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment is better than that of conventional western medical treatment. The two are in terms of cure rate, bacterial clearance rate, and CPIS scores. The difference was statistically significant and the difference in the incidence of adverse reactions was not statistically significant.3.Better than the number of documents included in the meta analysis process, the sample size is small, and the quality is low.The reliability of this meta analysis result is not high.ConclusionThe combination of TCM and WM therapy was superior to conventional western medicine in treating total effective rate, cure rate, bacterial clearance rate and improving the CPIS score of the subjects. There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions.Although the problem of low credibility of the results was due to the low number of documents included and the low quality, the combination of TCM and Western medicine for the treatment of multiple drug-resistant bacteria infections is a safe and highly effective therapy and worthy of popularization and application.
