Objective:This study collects some randomized controlled trials on the combined chinese and western medical trearment of the acute attack of chronic pulmonary heart disease, and carries out a systematic evaluation on thses cases. Throught this study, we mean to explore into its clinical efficacy, safty and access the overall situation of these researches, which will be able to provide medical basis for clinical decision making in the future. Methods:By computer searching the CBM, VIP, CNKI, Wanfang Data and manual searching other papers published in related journals, conference paper collections and in academic papers published by various universities and colleges. And extract such data and access the quality of these researches and they will employ Reman5.0sofeware to conduct Meta analysis on the the primary outcome measure clinical efficiency and secondary outcomes plasma viscosity, red blood cell hematocrit, oxygen partial pressure, carbon dioxide partial pressure and other relevant data. Results:Based on the enrollment and extraction standards,55papers dealing with4863patients suffered from the acute attack of chronic pulmonary heart disease are included in the literature review. The analytic results reveal the following result. The combined chinese and western medical treatment is more efficient than pure Western medical treatment in that it can effectively reduce plasma viscosity, red blood cell hematocrit, carbon dioxide partial pressure and elevated oxygen partial pressure. Conclusion:The combined chinese and western medical treatment is more efficient than pure Western medical treatment. It can effectively reduce plasma viscosity, red blood cell hematocrit, carbon dioxide partial pressure and elevated oxygen partial pressure to a greater extent. Althought there is no statistical differentiations, due to great heterogeneity, more clinical medical experiments are needed to testify the retult. Since the literature included in this study relitive low, there is great divergency in the results of these experiments. Moreover, as a quantitative analysis, Meta analysis is a descriptive secondary analysis whose conlcusion may be affected by the data analysis of the oroginal literature review. Therefore, in clinical practice and researches, we should correctly understand and make proper use of systematic evaluation and Meta analysis instead of blindly depending too much on the aboved results.
