Objective:In this study,we treated spinal cord injury(SCI)patients as carriers and establish healthy subjects as controls,to preliminary analyze the brain reorganization under the rest and task state,in the meantime,to preliminary explore the regulation of motor imagery of right ankle dorsiflexion on the brain function by FOur-dimensional(spatio-temporal)Consistency of local neural Activities(FOCA)involved in functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)for SCI,which can provide more neuroimaging sufficient basis for motor imagery used in the treatment of SCI inclinical rehabilitation.Methods:1.There were eleven patients with SCI and twelve healthy subjects as the research object, accepting the resting-state fMRI scans, then analysing the results with FOCA for the whole brain and comparing the difference of spatio-temporal consistency of regional brain.Preliminary analyzing the brain reorganization under the rest state.2.There were eleven patients with SCI and twelve healthy subjects as the research object. They were asked to image the action of right ankle dorsiflexion when they are accepting task-state fMRI scans. Then trying to analyse the results with FOCA for the brain imaging and comparing the difference of spatio-te mporal consistency of regional brain.Preliminary exploring the brain reorganizat-ion under the task state and regulation of motor imagery of right ankle dorsiflexion on the Brain function.Results:1.Compared with the healthy subjects, under the state of rest, the brain regions with decreased FOCA of patients with SCI are left putamen?right caudate nucleus?right superior occipital gyrus(P<0.01,cluster>10);the brain region with increased FOCA of patients with SCI is left precentral gyrus(P<0.01,clus-ter>10).2.Compared with the healthy subjects, under the task state of motor imagery of right ankle dorsiflexion, the brain region with decreased FOCA of patients with SCI are left inferior parietal lobule and right inferior temporal gyrus(P<0.01,cluster>10).Conclusions:1.The brain reorganization after spinal cord injury may show that decreased of spatio-temporal consistency of motor related brain regions under rest and task state, that is local neural activities of brain regions are more disorder in time, local brain neural activities stability is decreased..2.Motor imagery of right ankle dorsiflexion can increase motor stimulation of patients with SCI by inhibiting motor related brain region of Default Mode Network. Thus,it will improve the ability of motor relearning and promote recovery of motor function after spinal cord injury.3.The ability of patients with SCI deal with motor vision formation could decrease.
