ObjectsTo understand the knowledge of sexual and reproductive health as well as the situation of repeated abortion in migrant female workers,and to provide the evidence for introducing the corresponding public health policy.To bring out proper strategies and suggestions that can improve migrant female workers' sexual and reproductive health in bao'an district.Intentioning to come to Shenzhen builder according to its characteristics to change its main influencing factors,thus reducing unwanted pregnancy and reduce the occurrence of induced abortion and repeat abortion rate,improve the level of women 's reproductive health.Methods1.Prevalence study was used and trained investigators conducted a face-to-face questionnaire survey in migrant female workers who was about to receive or recently received abortion.The questionnaire wasmodified after a preliminary investigation and the whole survey was anonymous.2.Stratified method was used and a one-by-one questionnaire survey was conducted in migrant female workers who received abortion at three different level hospitals in bao'an district,Shenzhen city.3.Data were logged in Epidata3.1 synchronously by double entry method and were analyzed by using descriptive statistic,z-test,Chi-square test,singular and multiple factor Logistic regression analysis in SPSS21.0.Results1.In this study,a total of 3340 valid questionnaires were collected,recovery rate was 83.50%.Average ages of participants were 26.96±5.48.Junior middle school education was the main education level which54.48% of participants have received.70.54% of participants had history of birth and 79.30% indicated that public hospitals and health institution were their first choice when they fell ill.Few of them would go to private ones.2.Only 23.63%(782/3308)of participants had received formal education about sexual and reproductive health and the incidence of repeat abortion rate was lower in subjects who received formal education(?2=9.79,P=0.002).The overall awareness rate of sexual and reproductive health-related knowledge was 62.01%(12426/20040),andthe higher the educational background of subjects,the higher the awareness rate of sexual and reproductive health-related knowledge(?2=307.32,P?0.001)and different income level(?2=173.17,P?0.001),incomes above RMB5001 had the highest awareness rate about sexual and reproductive health-related knowledge;The age of sexual life for the first time of migrant females workers was mainly concentrated at 22-24 years old(58.3%,1930/3311),and 71.6%(2369/3307)of them did not take any contraceptive measures during their first sexual behavior.3.Singular logistic regression analysis showed that length of time living in Shenzhen city(?2=83.44,P?0.001),marriage state(?2=172.72,P?0.001),income level(?2=13.77,P=0.003),education level(?2=15.25,P?0.001),received formal education about sexual and reproductive health or not(?2=9.79,P=0.002),take contraceptive measures in the first intercourse or not(?2=6.50,P=0.039)and the frequence in taking contraceptive measures(?2=67.16,P?0.001)had significant statistical difference.Multivariate unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that live for a long time in Shenzhen city,higher monthly income,and no formal education about sexual and reproductive health were the risk factors for repeat abortion among migrant females workers.ConclusionMigrant female workers lack of sexual and reproductive health knowledge and reluctant to take contraceptive measures.Relevantdepartments should carry out more preaching activities about sexual and reproductive health-related knowledge and take appropriate behavioral interventions among the migrant female workers.Women should feel free to choose the most suitable contraception measures which can be sticked to in their sex lives.Thus the repeated abortion rate could be reduced effectively and increase women 's sexual and reproductive health in our country.
