Retrospective Analysis Of Effectiveness Of Local Chemotherapy With Doxorubicin For Cerebral Glioma

Objective: A retrospective analysis was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of glioma treated by local chemotherapy with doxorubicin.Methods: We collected the clinical data and clinical outcome of 127 glioma patients treated in the Guilin Medical College Hospital from Jan.2005 to Sept 2015.Time to Progression(TTP)and Overall Survival(OS)were fully analyzed of Ki67,the WHO classification and surgical removal of the degree.Results: In the groups of Ki67?10%,WHOIII-IV,grossly total tumor resection.Overall Survival of patients treated by local chemotherapy with doxorubicin is longer.Conclusions: Local chemotherapy with doxorubicin is an effective method and could reduce the death rate and extend the living time in the groups of Ki67?10%,WHOIII-I V,grossly total tumor resection.
