Objective: 1.To explore the value of early monitoring indices in diagnosis and treatment of chronic hepatitis B(CHB).2.To discuss the relevance of each of the parameters in CHB.3.To discuss the relevance between early monitoring indices and the therapeutic effect later.4.To discuss the relationship between early testing results and anaphase testing results and to provide some references for diagnosis and treatment of CHB.Methods: 1.A total of 105 cases of CHB,examined their serum level of HBV-DNA,hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg),alanine transaminase(ALT),carcino-embryonic antigen(CEA)and alpha fetal protein(AFP)at week 0(at baseline),12,24,36 and 48.2.Made a correlation analysis on each indices at week 0.3.Group the patients into 6 groups according to the baseline level of HBV-DNA,HBsAg and ALT.Analysis the correlation between these three indices and the rate of virological response(VR)or biochemical response(BR).4.Made a correlation analysis on CEA,AFP and VR or BR.Results: 1.HBV-DNA level are positively associated with HBsAg and ALT level at baseline, the correlation coefficients are 0.256 and 0.276 respectively(P<0.05).ALT level are positively associated with HBV-DNA and CEA level at baseline, the correlation coefficients are 0.214 and 0.352,respectively(P<0.05).There were no correlations between other indices.2.The level of ALT and HBV-DNA at different timing point have relation with VR and BR.The lower the ALT and HBV-DNA levels are,the higher the rates of VR and BR are(P<0.05).The level of HBsAg at different timing point have relation with VR but no with BR,the lower the HBsAg level is,the higher the rate of VR is(P<0.05).3.Baseline level of CEA have negative correlation with BR at week 36 and 48(r=-0.366,r=-0.453,P<0.05,respectively),but have no at week 12 and 24(P>0.05).Baseline level of AFP have negative correlation with BR at week 48(r=-0.353,P<0.05),but have no with the rates at the former three phases(P>0.05).Neither CEA nor AFP have correlation with VR(P>0.05).Conclusions: 1.Testing the level of HBV-DNA,HBsAg,ALT,CEA and AFP is central for diagnosis, prognostic judgement and illness monitoring of CHB.2.The patients who have higher HBV-DNA level may have higher HBsAg and ALT level. The patients who have higher ALT level may have higher CEA level.3.Baseline level of HBsAg,HBV-DNA and ALT can be the indices of predicting the curative effect after 48 weeks treatment.4.Baseline level of CEA and AFP also can be the index of predicting the possibility of BR after 48 weeks treatment.Patients with high level of CEA and AFP are more easily to get BR.However,VR have no correlation with these two indices.
