[Objective]To study the accuracy of CBCT and spiral CT in the navigation of the skull model, and to study the clinical application value of CBCT scanning data in the field of computerized maxillo facial surgery.[Method]Six skull models with nose point(N),left and right orifice(Or),alveolar saddle(A),palatal midline and posterior transverse joints making were obtained.Scanning them by CBCT and spiral CT and importing scanning data into the AccuNavi-A navigation software, the 3D model is reconstructed by software, and the interaction between the skull model and the virtual reality computer images is completed by the point registration. The difference between the distance from the actual probe point to the selection point in the two scanning modes, the angle difference between the SNA images in the two-dimensional image, the difference between the sagittal measurement S(butterfly point),N(nose point),A(Anterior nasal ridge)and Bolton Using the differences above to compare the accuracy of CBCT and spiral CT in the skull model navigation.35 cases of oral and maxillofacial surgery were hard tissue surgery cases. The CBCT scan data were preliminarily obtained and inserted into the AccNavi-A software system. The best surgical procedure was designed by three-dimensional reconstruction and preoperative planning.Under the guidance of the navigation system, the operation was performed according to the surgical design. The clinical application value of CBCT scan data in computerized and maxillofacial surgery wias evaluated by compaing the changes of the operation area before and after operation.[Results]No difference between the CBCT and spiral CT in the skull model navigation surgery in the actual probe point and the marked point distance,two-dimensional images of the SNA angle, and the sagittal measurement S(butterfly point),N(nose point),A(Anterior nasal ridge)and Bolton point distance(p>0.05).CBCT scan data as a data source for computer navigation surgery to guide oral and maxillofacial surgery hard tissue surgery, can be completely in accordance with the original surgical design program, and in precision verification,real-time navigation can reach the level of surgical expectations.[Conclusion]The accuracy of CBCT and spiral CT in the computer navigation skull model surgery was no significant difference, and the CBCT scan data as a computer navigation surgery to guide a few cases of oral and maxillofacial hard tissue surgery, the accuracy of surgical operation are consistent surgical requirements. Therefore,in the craniofacial bone tissue navigation surgery,CBCT can instead spiral CT for computer navigation guidance surgery.
