The dental malocclusion not only affects oral health and function,but also is a key factor affecting appearance.Orthodontic treatment is a crucial way to solve this problem.However,during clinical orthodontic treatment,some problems including root resorption,tooth pain,long time of treatment cycle probably exist.Presently,the orthodontic treatment plan design and the prediction of tooth movement mainly rely on the experience of orthodontists,and with the lack of quantitative data,achieving precise control on the tooth movement is very hard.So analyzing the force on the teeth precisely and establishing the correlation model between the orthodontic force and the tooth movement are critical problems to be solved for orthodontic treatment.Based on the above problems,this paper proposes a dynamic measurement technology of dental orthodontic force based on the dental simulation model.Using this technology measurement can get the dynamic orthodontic force in the process of tooth simulation move,for the analysis and prediction of tooth movement,to lay the foundation for the development of accurate orthodontic program.Firstly,on the basis of analyzing the principle of oral orthodontic biomechanics,this paper presents a dynamic measurement technology and realization system of orthodontic force based on dental simulation model,the system includes simulation models and measurement platforms;then set up a Dendritic Paraffin Simulation Model,this model contains mandibular dentition,which can simulate the biomechanical properties of periodontal tissue viscoelastic material paraffin and orthodontic appliance,it can simulate the continuous movement of teeth under orthodontic force;further,based on six-dimensional force sensor,build a positive force dynamic measurement platform;finally,on the measurement platform,achieved the dynamic measurement and analysis of Orthodontic Force based on Dendritic Paraffin Simulation Model,verified the effectiveness of dynamic measurement of orthodontic force.Based on the above-mentioned orthodontic force dynamic measurement system,the paper analyzes and compares ordinary Ni-Ti arch wire,hyperelastic nickel-titanium arch wire,super-memory nickel-titanium arch wire,new glass fiber reinforced shape memory polyurethane arch wire four arch wire orthodontic treatment orthodontic force changes,achieved preliminary application of Dynamic Measurement Technology of Orthodontic Force which can provide a reference for the development of orthodontic treatment program and prediction of tooth movement.
