Objective: Analysis of related factors of central lymph node metastasis in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma. Methods: The clinical data of 201 cases of papillary thyroid microcarcinoma diagnosed by pathological biopsy in the Department of general surgery of The Second Hospital Affiliated to Suzhou University from 01 months to 01 months from 2008 to 01 months were reviewed.According to the pathological results of the patients and the lymph node metastases in the central group, the metastasis group(n =34)and the non shift group(n =167)were divided into the metastatic group(n =167),of which there were cervical lymph node metastases in the cervical region of the metastatic group, and the number of cases was less,so the lymph node metastasis of the cervical region was not divided into groups. The general data of the 2 groups were analyzed by single factor analysis based on age, sex, tumor size, tumor number, tumor location, whether the tumor was multifocal, and the membrane breakthroughs. The non conditional Logistic regression analysis of the significant difference after single factor analysis was performed.Results:201 cases of patients with papillary thyroid microcarcinoma,34 cases with lymph node metastasis, metastasis rate was 16.9%,of which 5 cases were confirmed by biopsy or biopsy of neck lymph node metastasis, the metastasis rate was 2.4%.The results of single factor analysis showed that the proportion of lymph node metastases in the central region was significantly higher in the patients younger than 45 years old,the sex of the patients was male, the largest diameter of the tumor was more than 5mm,a breakthrough of the dorsal membrane and the number of tumors was multifocal. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The differences in the factors such as adenoma and Hashimoto's thyroiditis were different in the 2 groups. There was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Gender,age,tumor number, tumor size were independent risk factors of central lymph node metastasis in patients with papillary thyroid microcarcinomaConclusion:The patients with thyroid micropapillary carcinoma have regional lymph node metastases. Most patients are seen in the central group with lymph node metastasis, but there are also a small number of patients with cervical lymph node metastasis. If the patient is male, the age is less than 45 years old,the diameter of the tumor is larger than 5mm,the number of tumors was multifocal and there is a breakthrough of the dorsal membrane, there may be a higher degree of lymph node metastasis in the central group. We should focus on these patients and provide early preventive measures.
