Study On Therapeutic Effect Of White Tiger Shaking Head Needling For Treament Of Post-stroke Shoulder-hand Syndrome

Objective:Observation on clinical efficacy of White tiger shaking head needling for treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome,and further optimize the acupuncture treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome(SHS)treatment program.Methods:The 60 cases of SHS patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(White tiger shaking head needling group)and the control group(normal acupuncture group),30 cases in each group.The points were:Jianliao,Shoulder Yu,Quchi,Hegu,Houxi,Waiguan.The treatment group was treated with White tiger shaking head needling at ShoulderYu,Jianliao,Quchi,Hegu and mild-reinforcing-and-attenuating at the other points;The control group was treated with mild-reinforcing-and-attenuating at all the points.Once daily,the treatment session was 2 weeks,assess the efficacy by using Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),simplified Fugl-Meyer upper limb motor function(Fugl-Meyer)and swelling degree.At the end of treatment,there were 3 cases of shedding,29 cases in the treatment group and 28 cases in the control group completed the entire study process,and entered the data analysis.Results:1.After two weeks treatment,the two groups of patients with VAS scale and swelling degree score were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.01);the two groups of patients with Fugl-Meyer were significantly higher than before treatment(P<0.01);2.The comparison of VAS,Fugl-Meyer and swelling degree score before treatment in the two groups,all P>0.05,was comparable.The difference of VAS and swelling degree score between the two groups after treatment and before treatment,all P<0.05,the difference of Fugl-Meyer score between the two groups after treatment and before treatment,P<0.01,both the difference were all statistically significant;3.The clinical curative effect of the two groups,the recovery rate of the treatment group was 65.52%(19/29),which was better than that of the control group by 28.57%(8/28)(P<0.05).By statistical test,the difference was statistically significant;Conclusion:1.White tiger shaking head needling for treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome can effectively improve limbs pain,upper limbs movement function and the swelling of the limbs.2.The clinical curative effect of White tiger shaking head needling for treatment of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome is better than routine acupuncture.
