Investigate The Correlation Between PSG Test With Epworth Score And OSA-18 Score In Adult And Child OSAHS Patients

Objective:Comparing the results of subjective and objective evaluation of patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome in adults and children,and to investigate the correlation between subjective and objective evaluation results of adult and children OSAHS patients.Methods:A total of 132 preoperative patients diagnosed with OSAHS who were admitted to our department from October 2015 to October 2017 were studied.There were 66 cases in the adult and the children groups.All patients were subjectively and objectively evaluated preoperatively.Subjective assessment of adult group were using the Epworth sleepiness scale,children group were using OSA-18 questionaire,and polysomnography?PSG?as the objective evaluation.And then make the following comparison:1.Comparing the subjective evaluation results of the children group with the PSG monitoring results;2.Comparing the subjective evaluation results of the adult group with the PSG monitoring results;3.Comparing the degree of relevance of the subjective and objective assessment of the children's group with the degree of relevance of the subjective and objective assessment of the adult group.Results:1.The influence of degree of obstruction on quality of life:?1?The Epworth score in the adult group increased with the degree of obstruction.There was a positive correlation and statistical significance between Epworth score and AHI,and the correlation coefficient between the two was r=0.492,P=8×10^-5<0.01;?2?The total score of OSA-18 in the children group increased with the increase of the degree of obstruction.There was a positive correlation and statistical significance between OSA-18 total score and AHI,and the correlation coefficient between the two was r=0.702,P=9.90×10^-11<0.01;?3?The correlation coefficient r value of the children group was significantly greater than the r value of the adult group,indicating that the subjective score of the children group was more correlated with the AHI than the adult group,and the subjective score of the children group had more significant correlation and consistency with the severity of OSAHS obstruction.2.The influence of hypoxic degree on quality of life:?1?The Epworth score in adult group showed an increasing trend with the decreasing of LSaO₂ and MSaO₂,and the correlation coefficient between Epworth score with LSaO₂ was r=-0.605,P=3.63×10^-8<0.01,the correlation coefficient between Epworth score with MSaO₂ was r=-0.444,P=9.40×10^-5<0.01,both of which were negatively correlated and statistically significant.The correlation coefficient r value indicated that Epworth score was more strongly correlated with LSaO₂;?2?The OSA-18 total score of children group increased with decreasing degree of LSaO₂and MSaO₂,and the correlation between OSA-18 total score and LSaO₂ was r=-0.806,P=1.44×10^-11<0.01,the correlation between OSA-18 score and MSaO₂ was r=-0.296,P=0.001,There were negative correlations and statistical significance,and the correlation coefficient r value suggested that the OSA-18total score was more strongly related to LSaO₂;?3?Comparing the adult group and children group,the correlation coefficient|r|between subjective score and LSaO2 of the children group is relatively close to 1,and the children group's|r|is greater than the adult group's|r|,showing that the correlation between subjective score and LSaO₂ in children group is stronger than that of adult group;and the correlation coefficient|r|between subjective score and MSaO₂ in children group is smaller than that of adult group,suggesting that the subjective score of the adult group is more correlated with MSaO₂ than that in children group.Conclusion:There is a significant correlation between the objective assessment of PSG with their subjective tests?Epworth and OSA-18?in adult and child OSAHS patients.The relevance of subjective and objective examinations in children is closer than in adults.In general,The more obstructive and hypoxic the objective examination results,the lower of the patient's quality of life;Compared with the MSaO₂,the LSaO₂ is more closely related to the patient's quality of life,The effect ofMSaO₂ on adult quality of Life is more pronounced than that in children.
