Objective:To investigate the effect of molar-missing on neurons and Brain source neurotrophic factor and Tyrosine kinase B receptor expression in the hippocampus CA1 region of juvenile rats.Methods 50 SD male rats were randomly divided into five groups.the number of 3 ? 6 ? 9 and 12 molars-missing experimental control groups(B,C,D,E)no-molar-missing in normal control group(A).Rats were sacrificed after 8 weeks of treatment and the hippocampus tissue were taken.Observe the changes of nerve cell structure and the expression of Brain source neurotrophic factor and Tyrosine kinase B receptor protein in hippocampus CA1 region of each group by using He staining and immunohistochemical staining.Result 1.Group A and group B were normal in the hippocampus CA1 area and had no pathological changes.C,D,and E groups showed decreased cell number and cell lines were sparse and disordered.2.Groups of rats with the increase of molar teeth number missing,the expression of Brain source neurotrophic factor in the rat hippocampus CA1 area and Tyrosine kinase B receptor quantity showed A trend of decrease,compared with group A,group B Brain source neurotrophic factor and Tyrosine kinase B receptor protein positive cells express no significant change(P >0.05),and C,D,E group of Brain source neurotrophic factor and Tyrosine kinase B receptor protein positive cells expression difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion A large number of molar deletions can lead to neuronal damage and decrease of Brain source neurotrophic factor and Tyrosine kinase B receptor protein expression in hippocampus CA1 region of juvenile rats.
