Objective :To explore zhe relationship between the expression of CEACAM-1 and MMP-9 in colorectal cancer and its relationship with LMVD.Methods:Collection of 50 patients with colorectal cancer tissues and 50 cases of normal colorectal tissues, using immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of CEACAM-1 and MMP-9,and recording LMVD values, analyzing the relationship between the expression of CEACAM-1,MMP-9 and LMVD.Results : The positive expression of CEACAM-1 and MMP-9 in colorectal cancer tissues was 68.00%(34/50)and 64.00%(32/50),which were significantly higher than those 28.00%(14/50)and 24.00%(12/50)in normal tissues; The LMVD value(15.13±3.08)in colorectal cancer tissues was significantly higher than that of normal tissue(5.15±1.25).The expressions of CEACAM-1,MMP-9 and LMVD were all related to tumor serous membrane infiltration,TNM staging, vascular infiltration, lymph node metastasis and liver metastasis, all of which were P< 0.01;The LMVD values of CEACAM-1 and MMP-9 positive groups(18.14±3.71 and17.19±3.85)in colorectal cancer tissues were significantly higher than the negative group(10.20±3.52 and 10.09±3.08),P<0.001;The expression of CEACAM-1 and MMP-9 were positively correlated in colorectal cancer tissues,P<0.001.Conclusions:The high expression of CEACAM-1,MMP-9 could induce the formation of tumor lymphatic vessels, associated with invasion and lymph node metastasis of colorectal cancer, through regulating theexpression of CEACAM-1,MMP-9 could inhibit tumor invasion and lymph node metastasis.
