A Correlation Study Of The Correlation Between The Five Personality Types And Coping Styles In Patients With Inflammatory Bowel Disease

ObjectiveIn order to improve the effect of the treatment of IBD patients,guide the clinical workers to make effective rehabilitation and nursing strategies.To eliminate negative emotions and psychological stress caused by treatment,improve the quality of life and treatment quality of IBD patients.MethodsThe research will use general data questionnaire,NEO-PI-R,coping style to have a survey on 59 cases of inflammatory bowel disease remission.Through single sample t test,independent samples t test,correlation analysis and regression analysis,the distribution law of personality and coping style of inflammatory bowel disease had been evaluated.The main factors influencing the in patients with inflammatory bowel disease coping style had been explored.ResultsThe coping style of IBD patients is mainly to solve problems,followed by help seeking,retreat,rationalization,fantasy and self accusation.The severity and openness personality characteristics of IBD patients are significantly different from those of norm.There was no significant difference in coping styles between CD patients and UC patients(P > 0.05).There was a significant difference in personality type between UC patients and CD patients(P < 0.05).Correlation analysis of coping styles showed that there was no significantcorrelation between coping style and gender,age,course of disease,education level,disease type and other indicators(P > 0.05),but it was significantly correlated with personality types(P < 0.05),which characteristics of sensitive personality has a positive correlation with self reproach and fantasy,negatively related to the problem of solving the problem.The results of regression analysis show:IBD patients have a linear relationship with enthusiasm,self awareness,and personality characteristics by taking the way to solve the problem.IBD patients have a linear relationship between self reproach and depression and frank personality traits.The coping style of IBD patients has a linear relationship with self affirmation,enthusiasm,and rational personality characteristics.IBD patients have a linear relationship with depressive,aesthetic,and mild personality traits.A linear relationship had been showed between the coping style of the IBD patients and the aesthetic and warm personality characteristicsIBD patients have a linear relationship with depression,honesty,emotion,warmth,and the personality characteristics of ideasPatients with IBD personality type and coping style have significant correlation with depression,ConclusionSensitive personality characteristics of patients with IBD tend to adopt negative coping style;open personality characteristics of patients with IBD tend to adopt positive coping style;warm personality characteristics of patients with IBD tend to adopt mature coping style;depressive personality characteristics of patients with IBD tend to adopt immature or semi mature coping styles;mild and lack of aesthetic characteristics patients with IBD tend to adopt negative coping styles;rationalization is the key stage of psychological intervention.In combination with clinical practice,clinical workers should establish a good relationship between doctors and patients and nurse patients,carry out rich collective activities,cooperate with family support therapy,and give psychological intervention,including psychological counseling and drug treatment when necessary,to make IBD patients’ coping ways turn to positive direction like solve problems.
