In recent years,the incidence of thyroid cancer has increased rapidly worldwide,and thyroid papillary carcinoma is the most common pathological type,although after surgery,postoperative thyroid hormone suppression therapy,131 I and individualized comprehensive treatment,most patients have a good prognosis.But there are still some patients had recurrence,distant metastasis and poor therapeutic effect of 131 I.Therefore,we urgently need to find a new direction for the study of papillary thyroid carcinoma,and provide new help for its clinical diagnosis,treatment and prognosis.BRAFV600E gene mutation plays an important role in the occurrence and development of thyroid carcinoma,especially thyroid papillary carcinoma.The results show thatthe BRAFV600 E mutation in the thyroid papillary carcinoma has a higher mutation rate,while in thyroid benign tumor and other pathological types of thyroid malignant tumor was not found the gene mutation.So the present clinical diagnosis method and the detection of BRAFV600 E gene mutation can further improve the diagnostic sensitivity.However,the correlation between BRAFV600 E gene mutation and lymph node metastasis in central region remains controversial,but there are many other factors that can be combined to further guide the choice of surgical approaches.Other scholars have found that there is a BRAFV600 E mutation in thyroid papillary carcinoma,and its 131 I has poor therapeutic effect,high mortality and poor prognosis.In terms of treatment,the presence of a gene target has made the molecular treatment of thyroid papillary carcinomapossible.This breakthrough offers hope for patients with poor efficacy in the traditional treatment of thyroid papillary carcinoma.Currently,a variety of molecular therapeutics related to BRAFV600 E gene have entered the clinical trial stage.It is believed that the in-depth study of the relationship between BRAFV600E gene and papillary thyroid carcinoma will be of great significance in the diagnosis of papillary thyroid carcinoma,the choice of surgicalapproaches and the evaluation of prognosis and provides a new possibility for the treatment.
