Objective: Compareing neural endoscopic treatment in patients with pituitary prolactin tumor with bromocentine therapy,to investigate the efficacy of the two kinds of therapy, provideing reference for clinical reasonable therapy. Methods: 77 patients with pituitary prolactin tumor were selected in the second hospital of hebei medical university. The patients were randomly dicided into the neural endoscopic minimally invasive surgery group and bromocentine group, endoscopy group 41 cases, drug group 36 cases, aged 18 to 60,compare curative effect of two methods(tumor size, prolactin level, the cure rate, the effective rate, the recurrence rate, the complication rate, cost of treatment,Karnofsky functional state score and degree of satisfaction),and make statis-tics processing.Results:1.There were obvious difference in prolactin level of two groups after treatment 1 month,1 year,2 years(P<0.05);two groups hed significant difference in comparison of prolactin level before and after each treatment(P<0.05);2.There were obvious difference in tumor average diameter of two groups after treatment at an early stage, half a year(P< 0.05),in 1 year no significant difference(P> 0.05),before and after treatment endoscopic group tumor average diameter have significant difference(P< 0.05);There was no significant difference(P> 0.05)in the pre-treatment and post-treatment period of bromocentine group. There was a significant difference between six months and one year(P < 0.05).3.There was no significant difference in cure rates(P> 0.05);4.There was no Significantly different in efficiency rates(P>0.05)5.The recurrence rates were significantly different(P< 0.05);6.The incidences of complications were significantly different(P< 0.05);7.There were significant differences in treatment costs(P< 0.05);8.There were significant differences between two groups in the functional status scores of Karnofsky and satisfaction rates(P< 0.05).Conclusion:1.Endoscopic transnasal transsphenoidal approach is safe and effective for the treatment of PRL pituitary adenomas, which is more ideal than bromocentine.2.We recommend neuroendoscopic therapy for young patients who do not want to take drugs for a long time and want to cure tumors quickly. The drug therapy or combination of drug and operation may be the first choice for aggressive grower.3.Individualized programs should be tailored to each patient's own situation.
