Objective:Explore the threshold value measurement and analysis of the retinal photosensitivity under the guidance of perimeter,to achieve a quantitative assessment of visual quality after surgery of high myopic cataract, and provide a feasible assessment method for clinical.Methods:Twenty-six eyes of 23 patients with high myopic cataract who were admitted to performing phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation. The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),Mean sensitivity(MS)and mean defect(MD)in the region I(0°-52°)and ?(30°-52°),the photosensitivity of 58 test points in the values and comparisons about preoperative and postoperative of one month were compared. Before and after surgery of the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),Mean sensitivity(MS)and mean defect(MD)were compared by the paired t-test,while the before and after surgery of the 58 test points in the values and comparisons were compared by the two related samples of the Wilcoxon rank sum test.Results:1.The Best corrected LogMAR vision: The postoperative BCVA of the enrolled patients was improved, and the difference was statistically significant(t=-5.170,P<0.01).2.MS and MD in I and II area: Compared with preoperative MS in the region I and II,the MS scores of the patients were significantly increased, and the differences were statistically significant(t = 4.667,P<0.01;t=4.630,P<0.01).The patients had lower MD than the preoperative in the region I and II,and the differences were statistically significant(t=-4.573,P<0.01;t =-4.420,P<0.01).3.Photosensitivity of 58 test points in the values: Photosensitivity of 54 test points(93.1%)were significantly higher than preoperation and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The difference between 58 test points and age-matched normal values in the comparisons: The difference between the 50 test points(86.2%)and age-matched normal values were lower than preoperation, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation can improve the patient's vision and improve the visual acuity at the center and periphery after operation in high myopic cataract.2.Retinal photosensitivity threshold measurement and analysis can achieve quantitative assessment of visual quality.3.To propose a new method for the quantitative assessment of visual quality of high myopic cataract, and provide a theoretical basis for clinical evaluation.
