Objective Discussed the optimal time for starting to drink a lot of water after 131I treatment in differentiated thyroid carcinoma?DTC?patients,by researching the influence on dose rate,time to discharge and the curative effect of DTC patients by starting to drink a lot of water at different time after treatment with 131I.Methods 83 cases of DTC patients were selected in First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from June to December in 2016and randomly divided into three groups,and started to drink a lot of water at 12 h?group A?,24 h?group B?,and 36 h?group C?after treatment with131I therapy separately,the amount of drinking water in all patients was28003 000 ml/d.we measured and compared equivalent dose rate with the Inspector Alert gamma ray monitor at 1 meter in front of the patient's abdomen and neck at 6h,12h,24h,36h,48h,72h after taking 131I.The equivalent dose rate less than 20?Sv/h at the distance of 1m from the patient is the standard of discharge.We compared the quantity of discharged patients at different time and evaluated the curative effect after 6 months of131I treatmen.Results?1?83 patients were divided into three groups:A,B and C group.There were 26 cases,30 cases and 27 cases respectively.There were no statistically significant differences in gender,age,height,weight,131I dose,iodine absorption rate of thyroid in 6 h and 24 h among three groups?P>0.05?.?2?After taking 131I,the equivalent dose rate at the 1m distance from the abdomen of the patients decreased gradually over time in 72h,and there was a significant difference in the equivalent dose rate at each time point within the group?P<0.05?.There was a significant difference in the equivalent dose rate at 1m from the abdominal between 24h and 36 h after taking 131I?p=0.011,p=0.004?.The equivalent dose rate of Group A is significantly lower than B and C two groups at 24h,and the equivalent dose rate of C group is significantly higher than A,B two groups of patients at 36h.?3?After taking 131I,the equivalent dose rate at the 1m distance from the neck of the patients decreased gradually over time in 72h,and there was a significant difference in the equivalent dose rate at each time point within the group?P<0.05?.The difference between groups were not statistically significant?P=0.964?.?4?The number of patients who could be discharged from hospital were statistically significant differences among three groups after the treatment of 131I.The discharge standard rate of 36 h and 48 h in group A?30.77%,88.46%?was higher than that in group B?13.33%,60%?and group C?0%,62.96%?.?5?There were no significant differences in the curative effect among three groups of patients after 131I treatment?P>0.05?.Conclusion A large amount of drinking water at different time after131I treatment had no effect on the curative effect.Starting to drink a lot water form 12h after taking 131I can accelerate the early excretion of 131I in the abdomen of the patients and reduce the early dose equivalent rate and the early radiation damage to others.At the same time,the rate of early discharge after treatment was improved,and the time of isolation in hospital was shortened.
